Prague Christmas Market: A Happy Mother-Daughter Photo Shoot
A mother and daughter stand in front of a Christmas tree at sunset in Prague
Hi, I’m author S.
Today I’d like to share photos from a winter mother-daughter photo shoot.

Prague Christmas Market: Mother-Daughter Photo Shoot Summary
A winter photo shoot with a mother and daughter while the Christmas market was on in Prague.
Details
The photos are a bit out of order.. the first one is at Shakespeare and Sons. The man there gets annoyed if you block the door.. so I quickly take photos off to the side like this and move on. Those who’ve worked with me will know.. I.. work really fast. Once I’ve got a good shot, I don’t overthink it. I just head straight to the next location.

I could capture candid moments like this, and I was also doing a lot of family shoots with older relatives around that time. I could do carefully posed photos with the landmarks as the main focus too.

Prague was really crowded that day.. but somehow I got lucky and managed to make it look fairly empty. I did edit a few people out of the photos, though 😀
It was rush hour. Look how packed that tram is ~_~

A shot with tram motion blur.. I hadn’t planned on taking one, but a tram happened to pass, so I quickly gave it a go.

That warm, golden sunset~

I photograph them with St. Nicholas Church (kostel sv. Mikuláše), one of Prague’s landmarks, in the background. I really noticed a big difference here between lenses that resolve fine detail well and those that don’t.

I uploaded their individual portraits with a different color treatment for each.

Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) was so crowded.. I waited for the crowd to thin out a little and took photos with the Christmas tree in the background too.

I chose this affectionate moment for the last photo. Wishing you both lasting happiness and good health 🙏
Thank you for joining me 😀
Booking Information
I’m currently taking a break from photo shoots in Prague.
I’m not currently doing photo shoots or taking bookings in Prague. I’ll post a separate announcement if I resume. If I do, you can expect to pay about 250,000 KRW for a 1-hour daytime shoot, or around 400,000 KRW for a 3-hour shoot with 2 hours in the daytime and 1 hour at night. The 3-hour shoot would include 30 edited photos and 450 original photos.
- It's outside the door of Shakespeare and Sons, an English-language bookstore. The owner gets annoyed if you block the door, so I quickly took photos off to the side and moved on.
- I captured them in motion, and I also took posed photos with the landmarks as the main focus.
- Prague was really crowded that day. I was lucky enough to make it look less crowded, and I also edited a few people out of the photos.
- There are photos of the mother and daughter on their own too. I posted them with a different color treatment for each.
- I lived in Prague for 11 years. I know plenty of people there, and I could go whenever I set my mind to it.
