Weather in Okinawa on 19th September

This is the Okinawa weather report for 19th September 2025.
Today, the sun was blazing in Okinawa with a high of 33°C and a low of 28°C, making it a typical summer day. However, with tropical depressions on either side of Okinawa that could potentially become Typhoon No. 18 and No. 19, the winds were quite strong, making the day feel pleasantly cool. The sunshine was intensely hot, but the wind provided a nice balance.

This morning in Naha was quite warm. However, from the afternoon, the wind started to pick up, and although the temperature was the same as yesterday, it definitely felt less hot than it did then.

I’m here at the American Village for work. That hotel over there… it seems to be almost finished now. Unlike yesterday, the parking tower has gone up another level.

Around 5 PM, you start to see people leaving the construction sites. They’re wearing long clothes, but there’s a cooler attached to the shoulder area, making it a bit refreshing. I tried it on once, and it was surprisingly cool.

This is the view of the American Village at sunset. Perhaps because it was a Friday, there were quite a few tourists.

This is the view of American Village after all the day’s activities have ended. I managed to take a photo in a relatively quiet spot away from the crowds.

Before heading home after dinner, I took one last shot of Depot Island. As expected, American Village is beautiful at night. Although, I think it’s better to shoot during the day.

Okinawa Weather Forecast

This is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa.
Firstly, there is news of rain on Monday the 22nd on the main island of Okinawa, but it doesn’t seem to be heavy rain. It probably won’t rain all day, perhaps just for over an hour. As for Miyako Island and Ishigaki Island, while they are not directly in the typhoon’s path on the 21st and 22nd, they are expected to experience some rain due to indirect effects.

Currently, three typhoons have formed, but they are hardly related to Okinawa. Since the typhoon paths can change at any time, if there is any special news, I will deliver it to you a bit faster with Okinawa weather updates. [Source: Japan Weather News]
