Weather in Okinawa on 29th September
☀️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 29th September 2025!
Today, I’m reporting from Miyakojima. This morning, I had a snap photo session scheduled at Miyakojima, so I briefly visited Yohanna Beach. However, there were hardly any clouds in the morning, making the sunlight extremely intense. It might have been the hottest day of the summer across Okinawa, including Miyakojima. Although there was some wind, the unfiltered sunlight was so powerful that it naturally made you want to go for a swim. The highest temperature was 33°C, and the lowest was 29°C.
Okinawa Weather Video for 29th September 2025
Today, I’ve shared a short video of the weather in Okinawa Miyakojima. My schedule has been quite busy lately, so I haven’t been able to work on longer projects.

I visited a small fishing village to refuel the car… and it turned out to be quite lovely. Since I’m busy now, I’ve decided to visit tomorrow. By this time, most of the clouds had already disappeared from the Miyakojima sky. You can see a few clouds over there, but they’re hardly enough to block the sunlight.

After refuelling, we arrived at Yohanna Beach. Perhaps because it was still morning, there weren’t many people around. Of course, by around noon, the car park gets packed, so I recommend visiting between 10 and 11 o’clock. Although there are additional parking spaces outside… it’s a bit of a hassle to go back and forth, isn’t it? [Yohanna Beach Naver Blog Post]

After a whirlwind of filming… I took a few weather photos. I was going to be busy by the minute afterwards, so I thought I wouldn’t be able to take many weather photos. I managed to capture shots where there were fewer people.
Miyakojima is truly beautiful, but it seems not many people visit because they don’t know about it.

Today, I was pondering what to use for the thumbnail photo and decided to stick a traditional Okinawan drink, Sanpincha, in the sand on the beach. The sand is so soft that even a slight wave can knock it over, making it a bit of a hassle to take this shot. It would be easier with a smartphone, but my camera isn’t waterproof. So, I have to be careful while shooting.

I’m on the move as I have the next schedule. It was raining, starting as a light drizzle, but then turned into a heavy shower for about 10 minutes. The intensity was such that I had to set the car wipers to level 2.

The rain has stopped, and these are the clouds at sunset. As I had a schedule, I didn’t have time to capture the detailed view of the sunset. It feels a bit more humid after the rain.

While travelling in the evening, I came across a shop with an old-fashioned vibe, so I took a picture. They mainly sell cigarettes and alcohol. When I was young, there were many such shops in the neighbourhood where I lived.

It seems the night is gradually deepening. In the evening, the humidity felt slightly lower, and the temperature also dropped a bit, so it wasn’t to the point where you’d sweat just by walking. Walking calmly, it didn’t feel too hot.
Now, the end of the Miyakojima schedule is in sight. I have filming and work today, so it’s time to get ready to head out.
This concludes the Okinawa weather report for 29th September 2025. I’ll wrap it up here, and I’ll be back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
