Weather in Okinawa on 30th September
🌦️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 30th September 2025.
Today, I’ll be sharing the weather update from Miyakojima, Okinawa, and from tomorrow, I’ll be moving from Miyakojima to the main island, so there will be a mix. Anyway, today in Miyakojima, it was quite hot in the morning, and in the afternoon, it was cloudy with rain. It felt like a somewhat cool day. Although it was quite hot in the morning, it was a bit cooler in the afternoon, I would say. Of course, there were several brief showers and lots of clouds. The temperature was a maximum of 30°C and a minimum of 26°C, which is the lowest temperature I’ve seen in Okinawa recently.
Okinawa Weather Video for 30th September 2025
I worked so much in Miyakojima that today’s video is a bit short. I managed to handle an incredibly busy schedule without a hitch.
Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

This morning at Yohanna Beach. I came out for a Miyakojima snap shoot, and after the shoot, I captured a weather photo for the record. The kids felt quite hot, but the intensity was strong only until the morning, and the temperature slightly dropped in the afternoon. Personally, it felt a bit less hot than usual today. Not to say it wasn’t hot at all, of course.

Now that the filming is over… let’s wrap it up with a refreshing barley tea. It’s quite fun to shoot in this way. Since I’ve used this style for the thumbnail twice already, today I used a different photo for the thumbnail.

I am currently travelling for work. This is a sand island photographed from the Irabu Bridge, and since it’s low tide in Miyakojima right now, the sea recedes, creating a sandy beach on the sea. I understand it’s a natural phenomenon, but I’ve heard it’s also an activity product. Perhaps I’ll have the chance to experience it on my next business trip to Miyakojima. By the way, it’s quite impressive that they set up parasols there, considering it will be submerged again by late afternoon. Of course, there will be snorkelling instructors around.

This is the view of the Irabu Bridge. From this point, a light drizzle began to fall, with a few drops here and there. The sky was quite overcast, and there was a massive dark cloud above my head.

I visited a fishing village for work. Although I got to know someone here through business, they have been incredibly kind to me, making my stay very comfortable. Anyway, I wish there weren’t so many clouds, as they are obscuring the hot sun of Miyakojima.

After finishing all my work, I crossed the Irabu Bridge again… Dark clouds hovered above me all afternoon.

This is a photo I took briefly while stopped at a traffic light during my drive. After this, it rained heavily for about 10 minutes. The heavy rain came and went several times.

Now that the official business in Miyakojima is effectively over, I went to the market to pick up some local specialties from Miyakojima and returned to my accommodation early to relax. I’m writing this now. For eight days, I was busy under the sun and meeting the merchants of Miyakojima. Once I return to Okinawa, there will be a mountain of administrative work waiting for me. It seems I might have to come back to Miyakojima for another business trip next month.
Anyway, today was a somewhat cooler summer day in Okinawa, Miyakojima.
This concludes the Okinawa weather report for 30th September 2025. Tomorrow, I’ll return to the main island and bring you the weather news from there. Matayasai 👋
