Weather in Okinawa on 12th October

🌤️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 12th October 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it felt like a hot summer day once again. After four days of cloudy weather, it returned to its usual summer-like state. However, although the temperature was summer-like, it didn’t feel intensely hot. It seemed slightly less humid. The temperature reached a high of 32°C and a low of 27°C today.

Okinawa Weather Video for 12th October 2025

Today’s Okinawa weather video has fewer clips. I’m a bit tired these days, so I’m not paying much attention to things other than filming. Once mid-October passes, my filming schedule will decrease, so for now, I’m keeping the filming a bit brief.

Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

Morning flowers blooming on the Miebashi tree

This morning, we have a shoot at the American Village. On my way to pick up the car, I came across some intriguing flowers growing parasitically on a tree, so I captured a shot. I’ve heard that temperatures have dropped significantly in Korea, but it’s still summer here in Okinawa.

Afternoon view of American Village Aeon Mall

This morning at the American Village Aeon Mall. I was hoping to capture plenty of clouds and a beautiful sky, but after this, all the clouds disappeared and the UV rays became very strong.

Sunset Beach preparing for an event

It seems like there’s going to be an event at Sunset Beach. I had a schedule in Naha from the afternoon, so I stayed until 1 PM and then returned.

Preparing for the LATINAWA event

It seems to be an event called LATINAWA, apparently hosted by the Orion Beer Company. October is the season of festivals, but I’m so busy that I haven’t been able to pay any attention to it.

Blue Seal Ice Cream

During filming, a customer kindly bought me a Blue Seal drink. It comes with a scoop of ice cream on top, and although I’ve tried all the Blue Seal ice creams… strawberry seems to be the tastiest.

Afternoon at the American Village

On the way back after finishing all the activities at American Village, I took a photo. It was around 1 PM, so there weren’t too many people yet. Oh, and if about 10 people are dining at American Village, Ichigenya is a good choice. Surprisingly, many people don’t know about it.

A hot afternoon on Depo Island without a cloud in the sky.

As the afternoon progressed, the clouds gradually disappeared, but we managed to complete the shoot successfully. The sunlight was quite intense, making it a bit tricky to calculate the lighting, but with 15 years of experience in photography, I handled it without much difficulty.

An elderly lady wearing a cardigan in the afternoon

This is a bicycle belonging to an elderly lady in Naha. It was fascinating to see her wearing a cardigan. As I’ve mentioned repeatedly… 32 degrees in October is different from 32 degrees in August. It doesn’t have the fierce heat of August. Soon, even at 30 degrees, there will be women who need a cardigan.

The entrance of Makishi Market on Kokusai Street in the late afternoon.

This is the scene on Kokusai Street in the late afternoon. You can definitely feel that there are noticeably fewer Taiwanese tourists now. For one, the waiting line at Danbo Ramen has shortened, and there are fewer people carrying large shopping bags. Since Korea has longer holidays than Taiwan, there are still many Koreans around. Koreans are expected to be numerous until mid-October.

The water level of the Miebashi River in the late afternoon

This is the view of the Miebashi River. With the sun shining so intensely and no clouds in sight, I had to carefully consider various angles even in the afternoon. I wish there were some clouds and a fuller sky, but it feels just like an autumn sky in Europe.

Cool barley tea for the hot summer

On my way home after the shoot, I bought some barley tea. The barley tea from Lawson convenience store is delicious, but the one from 7-Eleven is also quite nice.

Okinawa Weather 12th October 2025 Festival in Miebashi

I’m on my way out for an evening shoot, and it seems there’s an event happening right in front of my house. It’s an event wishing for the safety of the sea and a bountiful harvest. Usually, such events are held on main streets like Kokusai Street, but it’s fascinating to see it happening on historically significant streets in Okinawa, like Nagayoshi Street. Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time, so I snapped this one photo and moved on.

Late Night at Makishi Market Alley

This is the scene at Makishi Market in the evening after all the filming has finished. This area is usually quiet, but perhaps due to the festival, there are noticeably more women in yukatas than usual on the streets.

I hadn’t had a proper meal today, so I went to Sanukiya for a meal. It’s nothing extraordinary, but it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Okinawa. I recommend it for those who want a quick, affordable, and simple meal.

Okinawa Weather Forecast

10-day Okinawa weather forecast too

The 23rd typhoon has nothing to do with Okinawa, so I won’t mention it separately.
So, the weather in Okinawa for the next 10 days… is just going to be hot for now. Of course, there will be some brief showers lasting about 10 minutes. It’s hard to predict where and how much it will rain, so just leave it to luck. Don’t worry, it won’t last long. For those visiting Okinawa next week… naturally, prepare summer clothes, a parasol, and sunscreen. [Source: Japan Weather News]

That’s it for the Okinawa weather report on 12th October 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and come back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
