Weather in Okinawa on October 19th
⛈️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 19th October 2025.
Today in Okinawa, the morning was a bit cloudy with glimpses of blue sky… but after the morning commute, it started to rain lightly and then turned into a very heavy downpour, reducing visibility to less than 100 metres. Initially, it poured intensely for about 10 minutes, followed by another intense 20-minute spell, and then it was followed by light drizzles. Today’s rain wasn’t a typical squall but rather a widespread rain covering the entire Okinawan sky with rain clouds.
The temperature reached a high of 30°C and a low of 26°C, marking the coolest day since the start of this summer.
Okinawa Weather Video for 19th October 2025
Today, watching the video might help you better understand what the weather was like. This is planned to continue from Monday to Thursday, but from what I’ve seen, it seems like it’s only raining heavily today, and from tomorrow it should be a bit lighter.
Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

I’m on my way to the American Village for a shoot. Perhaps because it’s a Sunday, the traffic isn’t too bad, which is nice. It’s currently a bit of an off-season, so the rental car usage rate is also low. Knowing that there are fewer cars on the roads in Okinawa makes driving feel somewhat easier.

This is the view of the Okinawa West Sea from American Village. The rain was quite intense, but fortunately, it barely rained while I was taking photos. There was a brief 10-minute break to avoid the rain, but as soon as I finished shooting, a tremendous downpour began.

After the shoot, I decided to capture a few weather photos and took a picture of a swimming pool. It’s currently drizzling, but the children are just having fun and excitedly shouting.

A slight drizzle doesn’t bother the cats, and they just relax on the beach.

At the time this photo was taken, a blue alert was issued. However… considering it’s a blue alert, there wasn’t much wind, so I wondered if it was issued correctly. Anyway, today Sunset Beach is closed to visitors.

When it comes to showing it through photos, people with umbrellas are the most accurate. It was raining at this time too. As soon as I got into the car, the rain started pouring down heavily.

This is the feeling. You can easily understand how intensely the rain poured by watching the video above.

The intense rain… it stopped after about 20 minutes. After that, the rain ceased, with occasional drizzles, but now it’s not raining. The sky remained as you can see in the photo, continuing like this until the evening.
Okinawa Weather Forecast

Here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa.
So… it seems like it will keep raining until the 24th. I have a filming schedule tomorrow evening, and if I can just get that done, I have a holiday until the 25th… I really hope it doesn’t rain. My desire for it not to rain is stronger than yours. If it rains and the schedule changes, it causes me a lot of hassle in many ways. The chance of rain is 80% in the morning, and it’s expected to clear up and be cloudy in the afternoon. But of course, we’ll only know for sure tomorrow. This is just a forecast, after all. A forecast. [Source: Japan Weather News]

This is the current rain cloud radar around Okinawa.
Until last evening, there weren’t many rain clouds, you know? But suddenly, they appeared out of nowhere. I thought it would rain very little today. However, a much larger rain cloud than I imagined suddenly formed, which surprised me a bit. It’s not raining at the moment, but I’ll check the rain cloud radar once more before heading out for filming tomorrow. Hopefully, tomorrow there won’t be any green, yellow, or red areas on the radar.
