Weather in Okinawa on 29th October
🌦️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Here is the Okinawa weather report for 29th October 2025.
Today in Okinawa, the weather was a constant cycle of cloudy and clear skies. Although there were occasional drizzles, they didn’t last more than 10 minutes, so they didn’t significantly disrupt travel or filming. However, during the first shoot in the morning, it was initially very clear, but then the sky became overcast, which caused a sudden change in the atmosphere, making me a bit concerned about the photos. Of course, they can still be beautifully edited.
After the endless cycle of clear and cloudy skies, around 3 PM, it turned completely clear with a beautiful sky, which lifted my spirits. Fortunately, the weather is expected to be even better tomorrow, which is a relief as tomorrow’s filming schedule is quite tight. Today’s highest temperature was 27°C, with a low of 22°C, and some people found it quite chilly at night. A strong wind at 22°C can indeed feel quite cold.

Today, I have to do some filming and also visit the city hall, so I’m a bit busy and this will be a short one. I could have filmed in the evening, but I needed to quickly finish editing the photos I took during the Chuseok season, so I wrapped things up in a hurry. It was cloudy in the morning and clear in the afternoon.
Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

This morning, I looked out at Tomari from Miebashi. Come to think of it, the construction at Tomari Port Management Office has been completed. I had forgotten since I only saw the side every day. Once it’s fully finished, I’d love to share more about the facility. For now, I’m a bit overwhelmed managing the Cultravel blog due to my busy shooting and editing schedule. I think I’ll be able to engage more actively around November or December.

The weather cleared up beautifully, so I was hopeful… but just as we were about to start filming, dark clouds began to gather. At first, we captured a lot with the pretty sky as the backdrop… but as we moved towards the latter part, a light drizzle started and the dark clouds thickened. In any case, we managed to capture many cute moments, but it was a bit of a disappointing shoot in several ways.

This is a shot taken before heading home after filming at American Village. In the video, there are people wearing long clothes, but there seemed to be fewer of them around American Village. Since the beach was still open, there were people enjoying swimming in bikinis, but I also saw men wearing windbreakers and jeans.

I had to get to Naha City Hall quickly, so this is a photo taken in Urasoe on the way down south. This was probably the moment when it rained the most today. It lasted about 10 minutes, and I had the car wipers on the second setting.

I visited the city hall, but they said I need to bring additional documents as some were missing. Another wasted effort today. I’ll be in northern Okinawa all day tomorrow, so I’ll have to go back to the city hall on Friday. Ah, living abroad comes with many such bothersome tasks.

The afternoon shoot took place on Kokusai Street. Fortunately, the weather was absolutely lovely. I wish it could be like this every day, but in many ways, the weather this week has been quite disappointing. Still, the temperature is gradually dropping, so I no longer sweat profusely during shoots.

This is a photo I took just before heading home after finishing the shoot. Yes, I need to get back quickly to finish the editing work. Honestly… there’s just so much of it. Since I won’t be able to even look at my laptop all day tomorrow, I need to work faster.
Okinawa Weather Forecast

Here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa.
Fortunately, the probability of precipitation has significantly decreased. Days that were expected to be cloudy or rainy have changed to sunny. In early November, many Korean tourists visit, and it’s still a semi-peak season, so it’s a bit busy. If there are any special issues or if a typhoon approaches, I will mention it separately.
