Weather in Okinawa on November 1st

Starting the Okinawa weather report for 1st November 2025.
Today in Okinawa, the weather was absolutely splendid. As we approach the end of summer, the temperature has settled at a pleasant 26 degrees, making it an ideal time for travel. The day was a beautiful blend of blue skies and pretty clouds, and although the waves are still a bit high, the accompanying breeze makes it feel refreshing.
A tropical depression has formed west of the Philippines, which could develop into Typhoon No. 25, Seagull, but it is not expected to affect Okinawa.

Okinawa Weather Video for 1st November 2025

Today’s Okinawa weather video was filmed entirely in the northern region. I’ve been quite tired from meeting people until dawn for two consecutive days, so there aren’t many clips. It’s easy to get a sense of what the weather was like today. I think this kind of weather will continue for a while.

This morning, I visited Sesoko Bridge. There’s a nice café there, and the desserts are delicious, you know? So, I decided to drop by. They call it a private beach, but… it feels quite different from Anchi Beach. [Google Map]

I finished my work in Motobu, but today I didn’t schedule any shoots as it’s my day off. So, rather than heading straight back, I thought it would be a bit of a waste of petrol, and decided to visit Kouri Island. There’s a restaurant here I’ve been meaning to try, and since it’s the off-peak tourist season, there aren’t many customers, making it a great environment for filming.
Looking outside from inside the restaurant, the weather is truly beautiful today.

This is Kouri Beach. Come November, all the swimming-related facilities at Kouri Beach have been dismantled. They had announced that they would only be open until the end of October, so it was expected. Indeed, with November comes stronger winds and higher waves, which might not be a concern for adults, but there’s a worry that children might get swept away while swimming.

There were young students visiting in groups and taking photos. Most of the young ones were still wearing short or sleeveless clothes. However, you could also see many people wearing long clothes.

After completing the short northern itinerary, we stopped by Kyoda Service Area on our way home. It was market day today, so the parking lot was quite full. We didn’t really explore much and just used the restroom before heading home. I was feeling quite tired. The one consolation was that the weather was not hot and was quite pleasant.

Okinawa Weather Forecast

It’s not confirmed yet, but a tropical depression cloud cluster has formed. This tropical depression is likely to become Typhoon No. 25, Seagull. Here is the predicted path. Although it’s not related to Okinawa, the wind and waves might be affected. Let’s keep an eye on it as it might suddenly change course and head towards Okinawa. [Source: Japan Weather News]

This is the 10-day weather forecast. It seems there will be rain on the 4th and 5th. I have an outdoor filming schedule, so I’m quite concerned about that. I really hope it doesn’t rain when I’m filming. Other than that, there aren’t any particular issues. I’ll keep an eye on the typhoon and let you know if there are any changes.
