Weather in Okinawa on November 7th

Starting the Okinawa weather report for 7th November 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it was a cloudy day throughout. Although there were occasional glimpses of blue sky, it was more fitting to describe it as a cloudy day due to the abundance of clouds. In the afternoon, there was a slight drizzle, but it wasn’t significant enough to be bothersome. The temperature was quite pleasant, with a high of 29°C and a low of 23°C. However, more attention needs to be paid to whether Typhoon Fung-wong, the 26th of the season, will affect Okinawa next week.

Today’s video is very short. I came home at dawn because I was meeting people and chatting until late last night. So when I woke up, it was already past 2 PM… I don’t really know what happened in the morning. That’s why the clip is a bit short.

This is a scene from the Miebashi area in Okinawa, captured on my way down to the convenience store to buy a drink as soon as I woke up. It was quite cloudy and a cool breeze was blowing. I was aware that there had been a drizzle at dawn. I’m not sure if it rained in the morning though.
There’s a woman over there wearing long clothes… I think she might almost be a ninja. Personally, I didn’t find it that cold, but I’m sure many people would feel chilly if the wind blows in the early morning.
It’s around 5 PM in Miebashi. You can often see women wearing long clothes. As the sunlight decreases, it can start to feel chilly.
Just before sunset in Miebashi, Okinawa, over there is also the entrance to Kokusai Street. It’s just after a light drizzle that lasted about 20 minutes.

This is the projected simulation of Typhoon Fung-wong, the 26th typhoon. The typhoon’s path can change at any time, and although the probability is low, it could directly hit Okinawa. If it does come, it might be around the 12th to the 13th. I will update with a new report as soon as the latest information becomes available.

Since the likelihood of Typhoon Fung-wong directly hitting Okinawa is low, the forecast does not yet reflect any typhoon impact. It also doesn’t seem like Ishigaki Island, which might be indirectly affected, will experience heavy rain. We should keep an eye on it for a few more days. Someone in the open chat was spreading rumours about a direct typhoon hit on Okinawa, but please refer to reliable sources instead of strange posts.
