Weather in Okinawa on 17th November
☁️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Here is the Okinawa weather report for 17th November 2025.
Today was a very cloudy day in Okinawa. The clouds were so thick that the sun was barely visible, and shadows were very faint. In the morning, there was a brief period of heavy rain in Naha, requiring car wipers to be set to level 4, and after that, it remained endlessly cloudy.

Weather Photos Taken Today

I’m on my way to Kouri Island for a shoot. In the morning, there was a bit of sunshine like this, but it was only for a short while, and the dark clouds you see in the photo were present for most of the day.

Around 1 PM, we were at Kouri Island, and it was very cloudy and windy here too, so if you’re visiting, it’s a good idea to tie your hair up.

For a brief moment, the blue sky appeared ever so slightly. It was a moment when the shadows deepened. It was a precious time.

This is the opposite side of Kouri Island. Perhaps because it’s after the full moon, the water has receded significantly compared to yesterday. You can see yesterday’s scene in yesterday’s weather post. [Okinawa Weather 16th November 2025]

These are the photos I took before heading home after all the filming was done. The clouds were incredibly thick, reminiscent of a winter European sky.

This is Kyoda Rest Area, and there were many people wearing long clothes.
Okinawa Weather Forecast

It seems that the weather will be mostly cloudy for the time being. There will be some rain, but not much, mainly short, sporadic showers. It’s not a time to worry too much about the rain. Also, as the temperature continues to gradually drop, I recommend starting to pack some warm clothes.
That’s all for the Okinawa weather report on 17th November 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and will be back with more Okinawa weather updates tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
