Here’s the Okinawa weather report for 24th November 2025.
Today in Okinawa, the weather was absolutely lovely, with gentle breezes and a beautiful sky, making it a perfect day for travelling. It felt even more pleasant than yesterday, and I believe visiting at this time of year will leave you with nothing but good feelings. The temperature reached a high of 25°C and a low of 20°C, so a windbreaker or cardigan is needed in the morning and evening.

This morning in Miebashi, Okinawa.
There are noticeably more people wearing long clothes. Naturally, I’m still walking around in a T-shirt and shorts. I haven’t turned on the air conditioning anymore, but I’m not wearing long clothes yet either.
This morning, the sunlight was so strong that I had to drive with one of these fans attached to the car. If you live in Okinawa, a fan is essential.
The first schedule is at 11 a.m., but I arrived a bit early around 9 a.m.
The house is a mess because I’m sending luggage to Korea, so I didn’t want to stay there. I came early to have some tea and get some work done.
This is the Hilton Chatan Resort. Personally, I think it’s the least impressive among the large hotels in Okinawa… Without any fancy resort facilities, it kind of feels like a big general hospital… That’s my honest feeling. By the way, the sky was clear without a single cloud.
Today, I’m starting the day with a cinnamon roll. It tastes good, but it creates too many crumbs… I think I’ll skip it next time. Zibago Coffee is a café I highly recommend, so be sure to visit. [American Village Zibago Coffee]
This is Depot Island, photographed before starting the first schedule. Capturing it like this gives it a different vibe.
Now that all the Christmas decorations are complete, more people are taking photos with Rudolph or Santa Claus decorations.
This is Sunset Beach around noon. Having tried the water myself, I can tell you it’s a bit chilly. So, there shouldn’t be any typhoons near Okinawa for a while. By the way, it’s fascinating that there are still people swimming over there. For your information, today is a public holiday in Japan. It’s similar to Labour Day in Korea.
Okinawa Weather Forecast
This is the predicted path of Typhoon No. 27. It has nothing to do with Okinawa.
Living in Okinawa, I always keep an eye on typhoons… It makes me wonder what kind of country the Philippines is compared to Okinawa. I once went to Cebu in the Philippines for a wedding shoot 16 years ago, and the weather was incredibly good for all four days. Almost excessively so… However, whenever I monitor typhoons, they always seem to accompany them.
Of course, I’ll be in Okinawa until February, so if no typhoon comes to Okinawa by then, it will be the first time I’ve experienced no typhoon while living here. I suppose that’s how it will be 😀

There is a forecast for rain on the 27th and 28th, so some filming schedules have been adjusted. After that, the weather is expected to be consistently good. I am on holiday from the 4th to the 11th of December. Hopefully, the weather will be nice then too!
