How to Use the Airport Pickup Service

Today, I’ll be sharing information about renting a car with airport pickup in Okinawa.
After making a reservation and arriving at the airport, you’ll need to move to the vehicle pickup point since vehicle handover and collection are prohibited within the airport. This is done at Exit 4 on the 3rd floor of Naha Airport. It’s not difficult, and you can easily reach the pickup location by following the photos.
For 💬 messenger contact with the rental car company, please get in touch after arriving at Naha Airport and completing immigration procedures, and the staff will head to the airport. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes for you to reach Exit 4 on the 3rd floor after leaving the arrivals hall.
🛬 International Arrivals
Arriving at Okinawa Naha Airport on an international flight, after completing immigration and customs procedures, you will see this view when you look to the right as you exit. If you follow the path straight ahead inside the building, you’ll find the traveller information centre, and next to it, there’s a lift. You are currently on the first floor and need to go to the third floor. It’s located in the centre-left of the photo.
There are two elevators here. It doesn’t matter which one you take, as they’re large enough to carry your luggage without any worries. Take the elevator up to the third floor.
3️⃣ Arrival on the 3rd Floor
When you descend to the third floor and look down, this is the view you’ll see. You can spot the landmark Shuri Castle of Okinawa in the picture, so take a look just to the left. Then, simply walk along to continue your journey.
Then you can see this view. This is the check-in floor for boarding procedures on the third floor. You need to walk straight along this path.
As you move while looking to the left, you’ll see the exit numbers appear. The first exit number you will see is 11, but if you keep moving, you can reach exit 4. It’s not difficult, so just continue along the third-floor corridor.
Then you’ll see Exit 4. Head out through this exit and you’ll find a very small pedestrian crossing, which you should cross. If you haven’t arranged for mobile data service, please note that the Wi-Fi will disconnect once you leave here, so it’s a good idea to make any necessary calls beforehand.
🚘 Okinawa Rent-a-Car Airport Pickup
When you exit from Exit 4 on the third floor, you’ll see a very small pedestrian crossing. Be careful as you cross it. Then, among the parked vehicles, someone will be waiting for you. Load your luggage into the vehicle and proceed to the vehicle handover point to collect your car, and that concludes the Okinawa rental car airport pickup.
