October 11th Okinawa Weather
🌥️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 11th October 2025.
Today was a day off for me as I had no filming schedule. It was my first day off in three weeks, so I didn’t really go out much, just visited the nearby supermarket and convenience store, so I didn’t feel the heat much. However, it did feel like summer was slightly waning. For four consecutive days, Okinawa has been quite cloudy, which has slightly reduced the UV rays, making the perceived temperature a bit lower. Even though it’s the same 31 degrees, there’s a clear difference between 31 degrees in August and 31 degrees in October. August’s 31 degrees feels much hotter. Slowly, the peak of summer in Okinawa is ending, and it’s gradually cooling down.
In places like Korea or Europe where I’ve lived, the changing seasons bring various climate changes, but in Okinawa, the temperature drops quite gently. Typhoons are unpredictable, but the temperature changes are pleasantly simple.
It was a day with a high of 31 degrees and a low of 28 degrees.
Okinawa Weather Video for 11th October 2025
Today’s video was filmed entirely around my neighbourhood. I’ve been filming from early morning until late at night for the past two days, so I’m absolutely exhausted. It’s one of those days where I don’t even want to lift a finger. I would love to take a break, but since I need to upload the weather video daily, I’ve put together a brief video with just three clips.
Today’s Photos of Okinawa Weather

This is the view behind Naha Elementary School. It’s quite a well-equipped school. The facilities are much better than the school I attended as a child. Of course, I suppose I’m a bit of an old-timer now.
I went out to buy a lunchbox… It’s about 100 metres to the lunchbox shop, but even that feels tiring today. I think it’s because I’ve been working too hard for the past three weeks. I’ve posted about the lunchbox shop I visited. [Naha Lunchbox Ajimiya]

I use this so often for weather photos at home that I usually try not to upload it, but today I’m feeling incredibly lazy. I don’t want to do anything. Still, to stick to my guideline of uploading at least five weather photos, I’m sharing these common shots. At this time, the wind was quite strong, making it feel refreshing rather than hot.

I went to a lunchbox shop, but they only had curry today, so I went to Lawson convenience store to get a lunchbox. Japanese curry is delicious, but I had it for breakfast. I wouldn’t mind having it again, but I also wanted to buy a drink, so I just headed to Lawson.
Lawson convenience store has lunchboxes that are only sold at lunchtime. These are really tasty. Since they’re not refrigerated, it seems their shelf life is less than 10 hours.

I popped out to the convenience store in the evening to grab a can of beer and took a few photos. It’s generally quite cloudy. Although I’ve turned on the air conditioner at home, I’m only using the dehumidifying function. I also have an additional dehumidifier that I purchased separately, and with two dehumidifiers running and just a fan on, it’s comfortably cool.

It seems there was a sunset this evening, but today I don’t even want to pay attention to that. When I opened the window, there was a breeze and it was a bit cool, but… with the humidity… I didn’t want to let the humidity into the house, so I quickly closed the window.

I’m spending the evening with a refreshing Orion Premium Beer and leaving this weather report. Having lived in Prague for a long time… to be honest, Orion beer isn’t very tasty, but this premium version is quite decent. Of course, compared to the beer I had in Prague, it’s just an average beer. I don’t really get homesick, but I do think Czech beer is the best in the world. I also have a review of Orion beer that I’ve written.

Late at night in front of Tomari Port, there are yakitori shops… all of them are quite famous. I don’t particularly feel like eating anything right now, but seeing the yakitori shops reminded me that I’d like to try some chicken yakitori with a sweet soy sauce glaze. However, today I’m feeling too lazy to even do a proper food review, so I’ll leave it for another time.
Anyway, the walk back home was quite refreshing and pleasant. It feels like summer is just starting to ease off a little. But that doesn’t mean it’s not summer anymore.
Okinawa Weather Forecast

Since the 23rd typhoon has nothing to do with Okinawa, we’ll skip it.
So, what I have here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa. To put it simply… it’s just going to be hot. There’s no rain forecast until next week, but it’s good to know in advance that brief showers lasting about 10 minutes might occur occasionally. Anyway, if it’s marked as clear like this, it means that even if it rains, it will be short, so there’s no need to worry too much. [Source: Japan Weather News]
That’s it for the Okinawa weather report on 11th October 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and be back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
