October 13th Okinawa Weather
🌤️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 13th October 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it was hot, but the heat seemed to have eased a bit. Although many who arrived in Okinawa yesterday and today say it’s still quite hot, I personally felt the heat had definitely subsided. Now, even shooting under the sun doesn’t tire me out much. I don’t sweat as much as I did in the September heat either. That doesn’t mean there’s no sweat at all, though. The temperature was a high of 31°C and a low of 26°C… It was the coolest day I’ve experienced this summer.
Okinawa Weather Video for 13th October 2025
Today’s weather video… I was so busy with work all day that I filmed it in the evening. You can get a glimpse of the American Village at night. Although I couldn’t film it, a woman wearing a cardigan made an appearance.
Today’s Photos of Okinawa Weather

This morning, I stumbled upon an incredibly cheap vending machine. All drinks are 100 yen. I wish there were more of these wonderful vending machines around. Discovering such a great vending machine from the morning makes for a pleasant start to the day. I had a Zero Pepsi.

This is the view of the public parking lot in front of the American Village Aeon Mall in the morning. Today is expected to be hot all day, and although there was a slight chance of rain, I spent the entire day outdoors and it didn’t rain at all.

After finishing the morning shoot, we headed to Aeon Mall for a meal before starting the afternoon shoot. I happened to pass by Daiso and noticed they were selling Disney slippers for 550 yen. It’s amazing how they can sell them so cheaply. If you’re interested, do visit the Daiso on the second floor of Aeon Mall in American Village. They have a lot of products that are completely different from those in Korea.

After the afternoon shoot, here is a photo of the weather. The sun is still intense today, but somehow it doesn’t feel like the fierce Okinawan summer I used to know. Even the children aren’t complaining about the heat anymore.

In the afternoon, I replaced the memory card and the battery, and these are the photos I took as a test. Although there were quite a few clouds, the sun shone for much longer. Still, with the clouds occasionally covering the sun, it was a slightly cooler afternoon.

It seems there’s a festival at American Village on October 19th. I’ll be at American Village all day on October 19th for work, so I might witness this festival. However, I’m more concerned about the large crowds. While I often use the bustling atmosphere of crowds when filming, it can be tiring for the clients.

This is the sunset at American Village during an evening shoot. Perhaps because there were quite a few clouds, the sunset offered a variety of light displays. It was definitely nice that it wasn’t too hot around sunset time.

This is a photo taken after finishing all the shoots today. With today… the grand finale of an intense schedule has come to an end. For the time being, as there are fewer shooting schedules, I can write on the blog and continue with AI development. Still, facing the end of such a vibrant summer like this feels quite special.

Realising I hadn’t filmed anything today… here’s a photo taken during dinner while filming. The magic hour today was quite long. There were also a lot of tourists. It didn’t feel like a Monday evening. And you can start to see women wearing cardigans or coats.
As I mentioned yesterday… it’s 31 degrees, but you know how 31 degrees in October feels different from 31 degrees in August? It’s that kind of context. It’s the same 31 degrees, but today’s 31 degrees feels somehow less hot.

I’m collecting photos to use for a special feature on American Village later, but I’m not quite satisfied with them, so they’re out for now. So, I ended up using them for weather photos instead.
Okinawa Weather Forecast

A tropical depression cloud cluster has formed in the southern part of Taiwan, which could potentially develop into Typhoon No. 24. It hasn’t become a typhoon yet, but if it does, it might affect Okinawa. However, due to the continental high pressure moving south from the Korean Peninsula and northern China, the likelihood of it impacting Okinawa is low. I’ll keep you updated if it develops into a typhoon. [Source: Japan Weather News]
The 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa indicates rain over the weekend. This might be due to the tropical depression cloud cluster that formed in the southern part of Taiwan. As always, it’s best to check the weather closer to the date for more detailed information.
That’s all for the Okinawa weather report on 13th October 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and be back tomorrow with more Okinawa weather updates. Matayasai 👋
