October 21st Okinawa Weather

Starting the Okinawa weather report for 21st October 2025.
This week, I’m on holiday, so I’m staying in Naha. Therefore, I’ll be bringing you weather updates from Naha throughout the week. Today, like yesterday, we had quite a bit of rain. However, unlike yesterday, the rain stopped from this evening. According to the weather radar, the large rain clouds have moved away from the main island of Okinawa. Although Ishigaki Island is still experiencing heavy rain, it seems that rather than more rain, we’ll have a few days of cloudy weather.
The temperature reached a high of 27°C and a low of 24°C, marking the coolest temperatures of this summer.

This is the view from Miebashi this morning. It was raining quite heavily at the time. An umbrella was, of course, essential, and I continued with photo editing while occasionally glancing out the window. Although it’s supposed to be a holiday… it’s just another day working from home.
I stepped out briefly for lunch, and it was raining enough to definitely need an umbrella.
However, as the afternoon wore on, the rain gradually weakened. The once heavy rain turned into a drizzle.
As far as I remember, the rain stopped when transitioning from day to night. Since then, until just after 11 p.m. now, it hasn’t rained. It seems to have completely stopped.
Okinawa Weather Forecast
Here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa. It seems the chance of rain has decreased slightly until Thursday morning. However, there is rain expected from Thursday afternoon. I’m on holiday until the 26th and have outdoor and building shoots scheduled from the 27th… I hope the weather clears up again. [Source: Japan Weather News]
