October 3rd Okinawa Weather
☀️ Haisai! It’s CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 3rd October 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it was a day with hardly any clouds, so the sunshine was very intense. It might have been the sunniest day since I’ve been living in Okinawa. Usually, some clouds provide a bit of relief from the sun, but today there was none of that. I don’t find this heat too difficult, but since the babies we were filming were struggling, it was important to have a quick and efficient shoot. The highest temperature was 33 degrees, and the lowest was 28 degrees. The wind was also mild.
Okinawa Weather Video for 3rd October 2025
Today’s Okinawa weather video clip is short. I’ve been extremely busy, so I haven’t had the chance to pay much attention. However, even with just three clips, I can describe today’s weather. There are really… hardly any clouds.
Today’s Photos of Okinawa Weather

This morning’s view of the Miyabashi River. Since there is no forecast for heavy rain in Okinawa for the time being, water is being stored. On Miyako Island, there aren’t many rivers, so water is extremely precious. We feel grateful that the main island of Okinawa has rivers and hills that can manage water resources like this.

This is the morning view of Kokusai Street, and there weren’t many clouds even in the morning. The sunlight was very intense, so we mostly conducted the shoot in the shade or near the market. If the baby gets uncomfortable, it’s difficult to proceed with the shoot. [Okinawa Snap Photography]

After finishing the shoot from Kokusai Street to Naminoue Beach, here is a weather photo of Naminoue Beach. The sun was very intense with no clouds, which made it quite tough for the child. So, we simplified the concept as much as possible and proceeded quickly. I don’t find this heat particularly overwhelming, but it’s different for the children.

In the afternoon, I have work at the American Village until the evening. It’s still cloudless here as well. This photo perfectly captures today’s weather. This is the Chatan Traveller Information Centre.

This is a photo of the sunset taken at American Village Depot Island after all the schedules were completed. I could have captured a more stunning sunset, but unfortunately, I had to leave quickly for my next appointment, so I had to leave the sunset behind.

Earlier… I saw some children swimming in a no-swimming zone getting scolded by the safety manager at Depot Island. They were diving in groups from a bridge about 5 metres high. In this era of low birth rates, I think it’s better to avoid such dangerous activities.

On the way to the car park, I noticed an unusually large number of people dressed in wolf and rabbit costumes today. Is there something special happening today? It’s fascinating. When I lived in Prague, Czech Republic, every early October, people would dress up as angels and devils with switches. Is it something like that?

As I head back to the car park, I keep taking quick snapshots of the weather. Perhaps because the sun is setting at an odd angle, the colours in the photos look strange. It’s magic hour, but personally, I don’t really prefer shooting at this time.

This is the stunning view of Depot Island at sunset. It’s the Campana Hotel, a wonderful place to watch the sunset. American Village offers a variety of facilities for enjoying drinks, so if you love a tipple, staying nearby could be quite appealing.
Okinawa Weather Forecast

Since Typhoon No. 21 has nothing to do with Okinawa, I won’t mention it.
So, looking at the weather forecast for Okinawa over the next 10 days… there are no typhoons or heavy rain expected. Occasionally, there might be intense showers lasting about 10 minutes. Even these haven’t occurred for a few days, which makes me a bit uneasy. I wonder if a big typhoon might suddenly appear. Of course, we can’t yet know if a large typhoon will form nearby, but for the time being, Okinawa is expected to be quite hot, just like today. [Source: Japan Weather News]
Be sure to bring an umbrella and sunscreen, and prepare well for your trip to Okinawa.
That’s all for the Okinawa weather report on 3rd October 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and will be back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
