Okinawa Weather Report for 20th September 2025. Today was my day off, so I spent the whole day at home editing photos and hardly went out. The only times I stepped outside were to buy a drink or to take some weather photos, but it was still a hot day.

There wasn’t any rain, not even the usual sudden showers, and although I drove almost all day, I didn’t have to use the car wipers even once. It was as hot as if it were raining sweat, but from the afternoon, the wind picked up, providing some cooler moments.

Apart from that, there were frequent short showers lasting around 10 minutes. In summary, squall-like showers were common in the central region of Okinawa.

It was a day where you sweat a lot, and both the western and eastern seas of Okinawa had shallow waters, making it perfect for snorkelling with children. As we are gradually entering the off-peak travel season, there are fewer people around.
