Tropical Beach, one of the first places you’ll encounter along Route 58, is a global beach enjoyed by people of various ethnicities due to the nearby commercial facilities and US military accommodations. It’s also a great spot to watch the sunset, making it a recommended location for those seeking a convenient and nearby beach.
Ikei Beach, located in the eastern part of Okinawa, is a paid beach that I recommend for those who dislike crowds or want to take photos with the sea as a backdrop. Due to its geographical structure, the area has weak waves and currents, making it safe, and the lifeguard-monitored area is small, allowing for safe water activities.
