Weather in Okinawa on 14th September

Here’s the Okinawa weather report for 14th September 2025.
Today, Okinawa was extremely hot. The sun was quite intense throughout the morning and afternoon, and although there was a brief shower in the late afternoon, which turned into cloudy weather, the rain quickly transformed into humidity, making it even hotter. Even with just the intense sun, it was already hot, but with the added humidity, it became an even hotter day. Thus, even though it was warm in the evening, if you walked slowly, it wasn’t enough to make you sweat. The temperature reached a high of 33°C and a low of 27°C.

Today’s Okinawa weather video was entirely filmed in Naha. There are quite a lot of tourists for a Sunday evening.

This is the scene in the late afternoon. I was busy with work all day, so I couldn’t take many photos, but I made an effort to capture some in the late afternoon. A brief shower came down, which significantly increased the humidity.
I’m on my way to Kokusai Street for a night shoot. The sunset this evening was quite beautiful. I wish I could have gone to see it on my bike, but I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had much time for that.
This is the water level of the Miebashi River. The fact that so much water has been stored suggests that there is no significant rain expected in Okinawa for the time being. It seems the pattern of having a shower once a day, like today, will continue.
This is the entrance of Makishi Market in the heart of Kokusai Street in the evening.
Even though the holiday season has ended, there were quite a few tourists for a Sunday afternoon. Okinawa snap photography isn’t particularly hindered, but you should be mindful of potential waits when taking a break at a café or ice cream shop.
Of course, even before my Prague days, when I was working on celebrity candid photos in Korea, I managed to shoot well despite being surrounded by fans. Having a lot of people around during a shoot doesn’t pose any problem for me.
There’s a really delicious ramen shop here, and I’ll upload it once I’ve completed the map plugin. I’ve been so busy lately that I can’t focus on anything. Just filming, editing, and publishing takes up all my time.
