Weather in Okinawa on 16th September
☀️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Here is the Okinawa weather report for 16th September 2025.
Since I stayed in the northern area of Motobu yesterday, most of the weather photos and videos are from the north and central regions. Whether in the south or north, it was equally hot from the morning, and there was hardly any wind in the morning, making it really quite hot. The temperature reached a high of 32°C and a low of 28°C, but from the afternoon, there was a lot of wind, making for a slightly cooler evening.
Still, as the sunshine remains intense, I think bringing sunscreen and a parasol is quite a good travel tip.

Today’s Photos of Okinawa Weather

Yesterday, I stayed at a place called Lue Hotel in Motobu, northern Okinawa. When I went to have breakfast in the morning, I was greeted by this view of the morning sea. It’s 7:30 in the morning, and the air is already warm.

At the seaside, you can often spot hermit crabs like these. Especially in the northern part of Okinawa, it’s easy to conduct such ecological surveys. With just a little searching, you can see lizards or hermit crabs, and in the evening, you might even spot small bats.

Checking out and heading out for a morning shoot. It’s another busy day filled with work. Even though it’s around 10 a.m., it’s quite warm.

This is the Ala Mahaina Condo Hotel that I visited for work. The condition was quite good.

Even with the tree-lined streets and refreshing fountains, it’s still hot. I’m fine, but it might be a bit tough for you.

After finishing filming in the north, we’re heading down south. We had lunch at a place called Takayama Restaurant, and it was delicious. Be sure to visit it sometime.

After finishing lunch and stepping outside the restaurant, it had become quite cloudy… but it was just a fleeting hope as the sun became intense again. Not a single drop of rain fell today. It might be raining somewhere, but as I’ve been visiting the north, central, and south for work, I haven’t seen any rain at all.

This afternoon, I came to the American Village. While sipping a refreshing Pepsi, I took a moment to wait for some work. Fortunately, there was quite a breeze at this time, making it a bit cooler. I had brought an extra T-shirt, which I changed into then.

This is the view of Sunset Beach. It’s high tide now, so you can easily observe the emerald sea. For the emerald sea to stand out, the sun needs to be intense like this. That’s why I prefer shooting on hot days with strong sunshine rather than cloudy and cool days. It’s more favourable for the results.

Blue Seal’s melon soda and vanilla ice cream. A perfect treat for such a hot day.

I’ve finished all my tasks at the American Village. Before heading south for work, I’m leaving a weather photo. It’s Tuesday today, and there are quite a lot of tourists. It seems as busy as the summer holiday season in August.

This photo captures the view of the west coast of Depot Island in Okinawa. The sunset would probably be stunning, but I was a bit disappointed as I couldn’t stay long due to my next commitment.

I’m on my way down south. Perhaps because it’s rush hour, the traffic is quite heavy.

It was quite a hot day today. After finishing work in the south, I left the office around 8 PM with a tired body. Although I worked under the sun all day, it didn’t feel extremely hot today. It was the kind of weather where you could work outdoors?
As for the weather forecast, it seems like there will be many rainy days next week. A typhoon has formed, but it won’t affect Okinawa, and it doesn’t look like there will be a lot of rain. I’ll be able to provide more details as the days get closer.
That’s it for the Okinawa weather report on 16th September 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and come back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
