Starting the Okinawa weather report for 22nd November 2025.
Today in Okinawa was one of the clearest days we’ve had recently. Although there were some clouds, the day was mostly filled with blue skies, making it incredibly pleasant for travelling. It was slightly warm at midday, but if you strolled around calmly, it wasn’t too hot, nor was it particularly cold. You could still see plenty of people wearing long clothes. However, in the evening, a light cardigan or windbreaker is almost essential, so please keep this in mind when preparing for your trip.

This is the morning view of Miebashi in Okinawa. The sunshine is sparkling from the morning. I was awake working at dawn, you know? There were a lot of clouds then, so I was worried about today’s shoot, but it turned out to be a day without any need for concern.
This is the Naha Tomari area, photographed before heading to American Village in the afternoon. These are just photos taken from our home. The weather is very clear.
This is the road passing in front of the US Marine Corps base in the Ginowan area. Over there, you can clearly see people who look like US military personnel carrying takeaway sushi sets. What stands out here is that all three people are wearing long clothes.
This is the view of the afternoon sky. After I finished filming, the clouds gathered again and there was a light drizzle. It wasn’t anything to worry about, just a light rain for about 5 minutes and then it stopped.
Since we parked at the Chatan public parking lot, we make a final stop at Depot Island before heading back. I wish the weather could be like this every day.
The dress code is a bit mixed. Some people are wearing long clothes, while others are in sleeveless dresses. It’s tricky to recommend what to wear at midday because everyone feels differently. If you tend to feel cold, go for long clothes; if not, feel free to dress lightly. However, it does get chilly at night, so do pack one or two long garments.
I’m on my way back home. Although there seem to be many cars, there was no traffic at all today. And it rained so lightly that it doesn’t show well in the photos. It only drizzled for a moment.
