Weather in Okinawa on 23rd October

Starting the Okinawa weather report for 23rd October 2025.
Today in Okinawa, we finally saw the sun after five days. Although the sun did peek out briefly before, it was only for a moment and it continued to rain, but today, despite the clouds, we could at least tell where the sun was, and there were even moments when we could see the blue sky. The thin clouds shielded the sun, so it wasn’t particularly hot, but it wasn’t quite a bright sunny day either.
The highest temperature was 29°C and the lowest was 23°C.

Today’s video was filmed around Umikaji Terrace. After spending the whole day working on Photoshop, I went out for a drive to take a break.

This morning’s view of Miebashi. It’s been a few days since I’ve seen a proper blue sky. The morning was quite sunny through the window, with clear and cloudy spells alternating.
Even if the day is cloudy and the temperature has dropped a bit, it’s still summer in Okinawa. In fact, summer has essentially ended this week, and from now on, the average temperature will gradually decrease by about 1 degree each week.
I had a friend at a car rental company I knew, so I went to visit and then drove to Umikaji Terrace. There were quite a lot of people for a Thursday afternoon. Southeast Asia can be risky, so if you want to experience the tropics, come to Okinawa 🥰
I took the photo towards the side with fewer people. I quite like this shabby appearance.

There were moments when the sun was quite intense, but it was mostly a cloudy day with more overcast moments. Most people were dressed for summer, though a few had on windbreakers or light tracksuit jackets.
This is the view of the sea in front of Umikaji Terrace. The sun is hidden behind the clouds, so it didn’t feel like the UV rays were particularly strong.
Today’s final photo of the Okinawa weather will be wrapped up with a special forces cat. It looks quite impressive, almost like a cat with camouflage on its fur, reminiscent of the military.
