Weather in Okinawa on 24th September
☀️ Haisai! It’s CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 24th September 2025.
Today, I’ve finally arrived in Miyakojima. So, all photos and videos will be uploaded from Miyako Island for the next week. I’ll be working on Miyako Island for a week. Anyway, Miyakojima feels slightly warmer, although it has the same temperature as Okinawa. Today, it seemed like there might be a brief shower like on the main island of Okinawa, but it was just a light drizzle for about 5 minutes, which didn’t really mean much.

Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

This is the scene upon arriving at Miyako Island. Since the airport is small, there are no connecting gates, and you have to walk to the baggage conveyor. It’s almost like Egypt in that sense. But it was fine since it’s close. The sunshine is quite intense though.

This is the monument at Shimojishima Airport. It’s my first visit to Miyako Island, but I plan to leave with the most intense memories.

I had a meeting with a client, so I went to introduce myself. Everyone was friendly and kind, and they seemed like people with a sense of calm and ease.

This is the view of the beach on Miyako Island. It’s the west coast, and if you keep going in that direction, you’ll reach the main island of Okinawa. Of course, it takes about 50 minutes by plane.

Miyako Island feels like a larger version of Okinawa’s Minna Island. It’s still quite hot.

Came for work, taking a short break before heading back. Miyakojima is just as hot and sweaty as Okinawa.

This is the view of the West Sea. The emerald hue is quite striking.

This is the view of Ikema Bridge. It truly lives up to the name ‘bridge’ with its grand and splendid appearance.

Miyako Island feels a bit more relaxed than the main island of Okinawa, perhaps because the wind is gentler than yesterday.

This is the view during sunset. It wasn’t a particularly intense sunset.

That’s all for today! I’ll see you in a few days in Okinawa, Miyakojima. Miyako Island is indeed part of Okinawa. Matayasai 👋
