Weather in Okinawa on 27th September
🌦️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 27th September 2025.
To summarise today’s weather, there was quite a bit of rain early in the morning, and a little rain in the late morning, but nothing too bothersome. There was a brief, intense squall lasting about 10 minutes, after which the sunshine returned. Overall, it was a cloudy day, so the heat from the sun felt slightly less intense. Nevertheless, it’s still summer in Okinawa.

Today, my schedule is quite busy, so there are fewer clips. There’s also a glimpse of rainy Miyakojima.
Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

This is the view from this morning. Since it rained at dawn, the ground is still damp. And perhaps because there are many clouds, the sunlight doesn’t feel too hot yet.

We took a short break on our way to the fishing experience. There are many bridges like this in Miyakojima. In Okinawa, there’s something similar on Kouri Island.

I arrived at the fishing village, but since it was raining, I took shelter in the car for a while. Once the rain stopped, I headed straight for the fishing experience.

Although it rained, after waiting for a while, the rain stopped, so I went out again to try fishing. Indeed, the weather is a warm hobby.

After finishing the fishing experience, we decided to visit a factory where they make snacks or souvenirs from skipjack tuna on our way back to the accommodation… but it seems we can’t go inside.

This is Miyakojima as seen from the Irabu Bridge. The weather is getting nicer in the afternoon.

This is a bougainvillaea I took a photo of after returning to the accommodation. In Okinawa, it’s an incredibly common flower. It’s said to bloom from almost April to December.

In the late afternoon, the clouds gathered even more, giving the impression of receiving less sunlight. It was still hot, but it felt much milder compared to the intense Okinawan summer of August.

I came for dinner and captured the sunset. I like that there are no tall buildings at all in Miyakojima. It gives off a countryside vibe, which I find charming…

I also participated in a star observation experience. It was too bright to photograph the Milky Way, but it was sufficient for listening to constellation storytelling. Experiencing constellations right in the middle of a golf course… what a brilliant idea.
Now I have to head out for work again. Today, I have a bit more time to spare, so I might be able to upload more weather photos or videos. That’s it for the Okinawa weather report on 27th September 2025. I’ll wrap up here and return with more Okinawa weather updates tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
