Starting the Okinawa weather report for 28th November 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it was an endlessly cloudy day. With the wind blowing and no sunlight, long clothes were almost essential. For those who feel the cold easily, it was a day that felt nothing like summer. Although I’m still wearing short sleeves and shorts, I feel more cool than cold, and it feels quite comfortable for filming. I don’t usually feel the cold much.
Now, long clothes are almost a must for travelling in Okinawa.

This morning’s view around Tomari Port in Okinawa. It was cloudy all day, and although there was a slight glimpse of blue sky at sunrise, it wasn’t visible afterwards. There was also a gentle breeze blowing continuously.
This is the Ryukyu Hotel. I visited for a shoot, and it’s a great hotel to stay with children. The swimming pool is designed perfectly for playing with kids. Among the Okinawa resorts I’ve seen, it seems the best for children to have fun…
This is a photo of the Okinawa west sea taken at noon. The sky is quite cloudy with just the wind blowing.
I’m on my way back home. It’s quite overcast here as well. It did rain briefly in the afternoon, but it was just a drizzle, nothing to worry about.
Umikaji Terrace here. Perhaps because it’s Friday, there were quite a few tourists even though it’s the off-season. Everyone seemed to be dressed very warmly.
This is the Torii of the Ryukyu Eight Shrines, Okinogu. Okinogu is beautiful, so if you’re travelling to Okinawa, do consider visiting it.
This is Route 58, and here’s a photo that shows you at a glance what the weather was like today. There was no one else walking around in a T-shirt and shorts like me.
In the evening, the slightly cloudy sky cleared up, and we could see the sunset. I hope it will be like this tomorrow as well, since we have a sunset shoot planned.

I’m on holiday from the 4th to the 11th, and I hope the weather stays nice until then. I have a lot scheduled during that time, but fortunately, there’s no rain forecast. I hope you all have clear skies during your travels too.
I’ve been so busy lately that I feel overwhelmed. I have to handle work in Okinawa and prepare for things I need to do when I return to Korea, which is giving me a headache. Still, I’ll keep updating you on the Okinawa weather until the day I leave.
