Weather in Okinawa on 8th September

🌥️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 8th September 2025.
Today, I don’t have many weather photos and videos as I spent most of the day sleeping. I was extremely tired after handling a nearly full schedule for seven days, and I was a bit flustered going back and forth to the airport to return the car from the morning.
The midday weather was generally as good as other days. After finishing work in the morning, I returned home around 2 PM, and there was a bit of rain. I went out for a night shoot, and there was quite a heavy rain for about 10 minutes. Since the forecast didn’t mention rain today, I concluded it was a sudden shower and decided not to stop the shoot and continued as planned.

Okinawa Weather Video for 5th September 2025

Today, there aren’t many clips. It’s still summer, so you can get an idea of the summer outfits.

The blue sky of southern Okinawa in the morning

It’s near Akamine Station in the morning. I came here because I need to return the rental car. It was quite warm, probably because it was before noon, but… it was a bit cooler than yesterday. A difference of one degree feels significant.

Water level of the Miebashi River

This is the view of the Miebashi River in the evening.
While working on some editing, I went out for an evening shoot and was pleased to see the Miebashi River full of water. It means I don’t have to worry about heavy rain affecting my shoots for a while. When it rains heavily or a typhoon comes, the schedule tends to change.

Afternoon on Kokusai Street

Night photography transitions from sunset to night style. When I arrived at Kokusai Street, it was still possible to capture the sunset… but soon dark clouds gathered and it started to rain… so the sunset shoot was a bust. In reality, the sunset couldn’t be observed from Kokusai Street, so it ended up being just night photography.

Okinawa Festival Poster

There are festivals like this in October, aren’t there? There are still many things I don’t know well. Right now, I’m focusing a lot on [Okinawa Snap Photography], so it’s a bit difficult to gather information on other things. I’m so busy 😭

The guest mentioned they’d be a bit late, so I took a moment to browse the products on sale at the drugstore opposite the meeting place. I thought, “Oh, what an interesting product…” and then realised it’s a Korean product.

Murder Scene

While shooting at night, it started raining, so I took a 10-minute break at Blue Seal Ice Cream before continuing. The rain was quite heavy. Once it stopped, I resumed filming, but noticed that journalists and police were gathered at the JAL CITY hotel, with police lines set up. After a quick search, I found out that a man in his 20s had attacked his father, who was in his late 40s, with a weapon. The father was taken to the emergency room but sadly passed away.
Witnessing a scene like something out of a Detective Conan comic in real life felt quite strange.

The night view of the Miebashi River

We have completed all the night shooting. Afterwards, there was a bit of drizzle, but nothing to worry about. We have another shoot tomorrow, but it’s only in the morning. It’s supposed to rain in the afternoon, so we’ll have to be busy from the morning again.
This concludes the Okinawa weather report for 8th September 2025. I’ll wrap up here and will be back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
