Weather in Okinawa on 9th September

Starting the Okinawa weather report for 9th September 2025.
This morning, there was a brief shower, followed by the usual summer heat, until around 3 PM when a rather heavy squall shower lasted for about 10 minutes. It cleared up again afterwards. At sunset, the sudden increase in clouds made the sunset appear quite weak today. As summer draws to a close, cloudy days become more frequent, but summer is far from over in Okinawa.
The temperature reached a high of 32°C and a low of 27°C today.

Okinawa Weather Video for 9th September 2025

Today, I captured a video from American Village to Umikaji Terrace. There’s a bit of rain in the footage as well.

This is the morning view of the American Village. I originally had this week free, but somehow I ended up filming continuously. It was hot even in the morning, but this seemed to be the least hot time of the day.

After walking for about 10 minutes, I felt hot, so I went into an arcade to take a short break. I think this might be the coolest place in Okinawa. [Naver Blog]

Perhaps because it’s a weekday morning, there aren’t many people around. By the way, there aren’t many clouds either, so the sunlight feels increasingly intense.

I’m seeing fashion here that was popular in Korea about 10-15 years ago. That kind of outfit was a style often worn by fashion editors or influencers when I was in Korea 15 years ago.

Here is a glimpse of Depot Island after the filming was completed. It’s still quite hot.

This is the afternoon at Umikaji Terrace. At this time, it was raining quite heavily. The blue sky was accompanied by sunshine. It rained for about 10 minutes and then stopped, and even at the moment I was taking the photo, it was drizzling slightly.

Even when it rains, Okinawa Umikaji Terrace is bright.

This weather is expected to continue throughout September. Since there are no immediate forecasts for typhoons or heavy rain, it doesn’t seem like it will change much.

At this moment, a fine rain is falling. It seems like someone is taking photos with an umbrella.

This is the view of Tomari Port at dusk. I was on my way home after shopping, but there were too many clouds to see the sunset.

It’s a pachinko on Route 58, but I’m not interested in pachinko. However, there are many delicious places around pachinko, so I pay close attention. In fact, there are many tasty spots around that place.

That’s it for today. I’ve been working non-stop for nine days and I’m quite tired. So, I’ll keep it short…
