Weather in Okinawa on June 17th

👋 Haisai! I’m CULT.
Today, Okinawa’s weather was absolutely fantastic. It was a summer day warm enough to make you sweat just by standing still, making it perfect for a swim. From what I’ve heard in the open chat, the water temperature in regular outdoor pools was too high, so it didn’t quite feel like swimming. Yes, on days like this, it’s definitely a day to head to the sea for a swim.

Originally, the forecast indicated a slight chance of rain… but from morning till evening, not a drop fell. The temperature reached a high of 32°C and a low of 26°C. Although it was humid, the constant breeze made it a refreshing kind of humidity.

Morning and Umikaji Terrace

This is the view from this morning. I have a shoot scheduled, so I need to head to Umikaji Terrace. I’m on my way out. The sky is absolutely stunning this morning. I wish every day could be like this!

This is Senaga Island, and I visited for a shoot. I come here very often as I frequently do shoots here. By the way, the water level is quite high, which means the water is quite refreshing. Gentle waves accompanied us.

It’s around lunchtime at Umikaji Terrace.
These days, I see groups of Korean tourists here as well. I wasn’t aware of that. By the way, despite the 32-degree weather, there were quite a few people wearing long clothes. It seems some people prefer to protect their skin rather than feel the heat.
Of course, sunscreen is a must on a day like today.

I’m on my way home after finishing all the shoots this morning. Today has been such a wonderful day almost all day long. Lately, Okinawa looks like this nearly every day. Now that the rainy season is over, it’s a series of beautiful days!

Afternoon in Naha City

Today, I’ve stepped out to renew content related to ATMs.
Although this content is primarily for Koreans, if I have the opportunity to write articles suitable for people from various countries, I will certainly participate.

2025년 6월 17일 오키나와 날씨 나미노우에 해변

I visited Naminoue Beach while cycling. It was quite hot, and there were quite a few people for a weekday.

While riding, I also visited Naminoue Shrine. There were people wearing Okinawan kimonos… I wondered if they weren’t too hot? It was a bit concerning. Naminoue Shrine looked even more beautiful with the setting sun.

This is Kokusai Street. As expected, since it’s a weekday, there aren’t many people around. However, it does get busier in the evening. Many people are finishing their Okinawa trip today or tomorrow. Typically, the beginning and end of an Okinawa trip involve Kokusai Street in Naha city.

I’m on my way home after finishing all the schedules. The photo I used for today’s thumbnail captured the most beautiful aspect of Okinawa that I liked the most.

It’s late afternoon in Miebashi. I hope that when you travel to Okinawa, you’ll be greeted with such a beautiful sky 🙏

2025년 6월 17일 오키나와 날씨 퇴근길 차막히는 미에바시

It’s rush hour, so there’s a lot of traffic. However, I’m not worried as I’m cycling 🚴

If you’re planning a rental car trip in Okinawa, it’s best to avoid the rush hours in Naha, if possible.

I wondered how beautiful the sunset would be this evening, so I stepped outside with anticipation… However, the clouds gradually gathered, and I couldn’t witness a stunning sunset. Perhaps in the central or northern areas, one might have been able to see a magnificent sunset?

Despite being in Naha city, I spotted a woman covering her face with a mask. Sunscreen is essential, and for those with sensitive skin, it’s a good idea to bring long-sleeved clothing.

After completing all the schedules, I wrap up the day with a refreshing energy drink. Although it’s the end of the day, it’s actually the time when I start working in earnest. I’ll continue to provide you with helpful information for your Okinawa trip.

That’s all for today, I’ll be back tomorrow with more fresh news on Okinawa’s weather. Matayasai 👋
