Weather in Okinawa on November 13th

🌦️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 13th November 2025.
Today’s weather in Okinawa is quite complex. According to the original forecast, there should have been about 35mm of heavy rain, but contrary to the forecast, not much rain fell. It definitely rained at dawn, and from the morning, it was a very clear and blue sky throughout the day. It became cloudy in the late afternoon, and after 8 PM, there was heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Even as I am writing this at 10:37 PM, it is raining quite a bit, and according to the forecast, it is expected to continue until midnight.
The temperature reached a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C, so it was hot during the day and the heavy rain at night caused the temperature to drop.

Okinawa Weather Video for 13th November 2025

Today’s Okinawa video clip might not be as extensive as yesterday’s, but I believe it gives a good sense of today’s weather. You can clearly see both the sunny skies and the heavy rain at a glance.

Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

This morning's view of Miebashi, Okinawa

I had planned to catch up on editing photos if today’s shoot got cancelled, but when I woke up this morning, the weather was just too lovely. According to the weather forecast I checked before going to bed last night, it should be pouring with rain and full of dark clouds right now, but I woke up to a day that’s completely the opposite of what I expected. So, naturally, I’m heading to American Village for a Okinawa snap shoot.

A clear and sunny morning

The weather is not just good, it’s absolutely perfect. It’s only 30 degrees, but it’s so incredibly humid that the day starts off feeling hot purely from the humidity.

Okinawa Weather: Morning of 13th November 2025 at American Village

The combination of the blue sky and pretty clouds was perfect, making this morning’s shoot very easy and beautiful. I usually set up my equipment and basic adjustments with strong sunlight in mind, so days like this are actually my forte. Of course, other environments are no problem either.

American Village under Pruning

In American Village, they have started pruning the palm trees. They tend to remove the overly long branches like that. On main roads or large streets, this usually takes place in the early morning, while on sidewalks, the pruning is done during the day like this.

The waves at Sunset Beach are strong.

This is the view of Sunset Beach after the morning shoot. Just like yesterday, the waves are strong and the water is muddy, so the sea doesn’t look pretty at all. However, when the sun is shining brightly, the sea looks a bit nicer, so we aimed to capture it during those moments. The baby we photographed today seemed to struggle a bit with the heat due to the humidity.
Usually, children find it tough to continue with outdoor shoots for about 20 minutes when the temperature is around 31 to 32 degrees Celsius. Today, it was 30 degrees, but the humidity was so high that the perceived temperature was higher, so we tried to focus on shooting mostly in the shade.

GiGO Arcade Chatan Branch

After finishing the week’s filming, I visited the GiGO arcade for a short break. This is the coolest place in Okinawa, in my opinion. It’s so cool that it’s almost chilly… [GiGO Chatan Branch]

Popular dolls these days

Apparently, this is a very popular character these days… but I’m not quite sure what it is. I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had the time to keep up with things. Once things calm down, I should take some time to learn what kids are into these days.

Okinawa Chibago Coffee

After filming, I make a quick visit to Zibago Coffee. The coffee here is really delicious, so if you’re in the American Village, be sure to stop by. [Zibago Coffee Roastery]

Working at Zhivago Coffee

Today, I’m sitting in a café, diligently working during the short amount of time I have left. There’s just so much work that even when I do something, it doesn’t seem to progress well. It’s because there were so many shoots during the last Chuseok.

The Faded American Village

This is the American Village around sunset. The sky over there is quite cloudy, and it looks like it might rain, but not a chance. Once I start shooting, rain is nowhere to be seen. The dark clouds disappeared, and although it seemed like it might rain, it didn’t, so we proceeded with the shoot as planned.

Sunset at American Village

This is the scene during sunset while filming today. Although it feels a bit lacking, the photo still captures the essence of a sunset. Surely, behind those clouds, there must be a fiercely burning sun.

The evening view of Depot Island

After finishing all the filming, I headed to the car park to return home and captured this final shot of American Village Depot Island. I suppose I’ll have to keep coming back until the end of February next year, but I wonder when they’ll fix that broken clock tower.

Evening rain in Miebashi, Okinawa

After coming home and having a meal, I was sorting through the photos I took today when a friend mentioned that it was raining so heavily that their clothes got soaked. I thought it was odd since there was no rain when I went to the convenience store a little while ago, but when I opened the window, it was pouring down. There was thunder and lightning too. As I finish writing this at 10:49 PM, it’s still raining heavily.

10-day Okinawa weather forecast

Here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa. [Source: Japan Weather News]
Typhoon Fung-wong, number 26, has dissipated and weakened significantly into a tropical depression, so there’s no need to track it further. However, there is still rain expected until the 17th, but it doesn’t seem like it will rain all day. On the 14th, there’s a shoot at Busena Terrace, and the 15th and 16th are fully booked days, so I hope it doesn’t rain too much. Well… it only rains during my breaks on the days I’m shooting all day, so you don’t need to worry.

That’s it for the Okinawa weather report on 13th November 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and will be back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
