Weather in Okinawa on November 19th

☁️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 19th November 2025.
Today was another very cloudy day, much like yesterday, with thick clouds covering the sky. It was even harder to find a patch of blue sky compared to yesterday. Although the clouds weren’t as dark as storm clouds, it wasn’t exactly ideal weather for travelling. There was no rain, but the wind was strong and the waves were high, making it not the best weather for swimming. While the sunset beach is still open, there were no swimmers. As the temperature drops to 19 degrees Celsius in the evening, it’s a good season to bring a coat.

Today’s clip is mostly about American Village. There are quite a few people wearing coats.

Weather Photos Taken Today

The morning scene in Okinawa: travellers dressed in long clothes.

This is the scene from this morning. You should take note of the attire of the women pulling their suitcases over there. They were all wearing long clothes or hoodies. Today, there were more people wearing long clothes than those like me, who were walking around in short sleeves and shorts.

Cloudy View of Miebashi, Okinawa

Since it’s not raining, we can proceed with the shoot and head to Depot Island. This photo was taken when I left home, and as expected, it’s very cloudy. Of course, the photos that are submitted are edited to look brighter and prettier.

Very cloudy Urasoe

On the way to American Village, it’s the Urasoe sky. It’s a very cloudy sky.

Women in various outfits

In American Village, it was easy to spot women wearing long clothes. The wind is quite strong.

The women here are all wearing coats. As I mentioned earlier, there are more people wearing long clothes than cool outfits today.

The high waves in front of American Village

This is the view of the sea in front of the American Village, and the waves were a bit high, so there were even people surfing. As expected by the sea, the wind blows more strongly. On days like this, make sure to use some hairspray. Otherwise, your fringe will fly away.

Defo Island is very cloudy.

At Sunset Beach, even though it’s a Wednesday afternoon, there are a few tourists around. Still, it’s definitely the off-season.

The sky of Depot Island obscured by clouds

Everyone here seems to be wearing long clothes. It looks like this endlessly cloudy weather will continue until tomorrow. After tomorrow, it seems like it will start to clear up a bit.

The temperature has dropped, making it possible to relax in the car.

I don’t rest well inside the car because it’s too hot. Since I don’t have the hobby of resting in the car with the air conditioning on, I usually go to a café or convenience store to take a break. However, now that the temperature has dropped significantly, it’s neither hot nor uncomfortable inside the car.

The Christmas decorations at American Village are almost fully set up. As a result, there has been a noticeable increase in night-time photo shoot bookings at American Village lately. [Okinawa Snap Photography]

The view of Sunset Beach

This is the view of Sunset Beach. The water is quite clear today, but to truly capture the beauty of this sea, we need some strong sunlight. Unfortunately, the clouds are a bit too thick, which is a bit of a shame. Nevertheless, we were able to finish the shoot successfully.

Heavy rain late at night on Depot Island

I’m on my way home after finishing the shoot. You can definitely tell it’s the off-season, as there are quite a few empty parking spaces at Depot Island. This place is usually bustling due to parking shortages, but it’s quiet for now. They say it gets busy again around the end of the year.

A Slight Rain in Okinawa Naha

I had some business in the southern part of Okinawa and was on my way back to Naha. There was a very light drizzle, the heaviest rain I’ve seen today, but it wasn’t anything to worry about.

Tomorrow is my day off, so it seems like the sun might come out in the afternoon… On the 21st, I have a full day of filming, so I hope it will be clear. I have a feeling the weather might change again tomorrow. I really hope the weather is nice next week.

That’s all for the Okinawa weather report for 19th November 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and will be back with more Okinawa weather updates tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
