Weather in Okinawa on November 6th
☀️ Haisai! It’s CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 6th November 2025.
Today, Okinawa felt quite like summer. Not exactly summer, but summer-like! The temperature was a warm 28 degrees Celsius, which is quite hot, but the breeze helped balance it out, making it a pleasant day. I visited the Moon Beach Palace Hotel in Onna Village for a baby photoshoot this morning, and there were still people swimming at the beach. It seems like it’s almost the last chance for a swim this season.
Also, perhaps due to the indirect effects of Typhoon Fung-wong, the wind occasionally blows strongly.
Okinawa Weather Video for 6th November 2025
Today’s Okinawa weather video clip is short. Since I filmed in Onna Village and then came straight down to Naha, the Onna Village footage is mostly just the beach. Nevertheless, it was a very good day overall.
Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

This morning in Naha, Okinawa looks beautiful. Following yesterday, we are starting off with a good day. You can tell it rained last night by the glistening on the rooftops.

And I came to a place called Moon Beach Palace for a photoshoot. I think this resort is incredibly well-suited for baby photo shoots. Other resorts or hotels have too many restricted areas, so even if they are beautiful, there are many limitations on shooting. However, here, there are fewer regulations and many beautiful areas where you can take photos.

Since I arrived about 10 minutes early, I took some time to snap a few photos. Although this is indoors, it doesn’t feel like it because the roof is open.

This is the view of Moon Beach. There aren’t many people yet, but by the time the filming ended, there were a few more. There probably aren’t many people swimming on a Thursday morning.

The coldest time in Okinawa is February, yet it’s still so lush. The temperature only drops to around 13 degrees Celsius, which for Koreans might not seem cold at all. However, for the people of Okinawa, it feels quite chilly. I still can’t quite grasp how the people of Okinawa perceive the temperature.

People often take a lot of photos from up there. It feels a bit like a jungle kingdom, doesn’t it?

All filming has finished. Here’s a final shot of the beach. It really is a stunning beach. [Moon Beach Palace]

This is the view of the swimming pool. There is a lifeguard, but… I don’t see anyone swimming yet. Visiting around this time marks the end of summer, and I think it’s a period when you can enjoy the resort leisurely at a slightly cheaper price. In fact, the price difference between peak and off-peak seasons at this hotel is quite significant.

When I first lived in Japan, I used to take a lot of photos of these mailboxes, so here’s one after a long time.

This is the bougainvillea, a flower that symbolises Okinawa.
It’s a very common flower that can be seen almost anywhere in Okinawa from March to November. It only takes a short break from December to February, but you can enjoy it for nearly nine months of the year.

I’ve finished all my plans and returned home. I’m quite tired today as well.

Went to the convenience store and found half-price lunchboxes 😀

As I wrap up today’s schedule with a pint of beer, I’m writing this weather report.
Okinawa Weather Forecast

This is the predicted path of Typhoon Fung-wong, number 26. It won’t have a direct impact on Okinawa, but Ishigaki Island will experience some indirect effects. I hope it passes without causing any damage. [Source: Japan Weather News]

Here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa.
I have outdoor filming scheduled every day next week, and I’m a bit concerned because rain is forecasted. I really hope it doesn’t rain much and stays clear. Still, there are more sunny days appearing, so I’m slightly relieved.
That’s all for the Okinawa weather report for 6th November 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and return with more Okinawa weather updates tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
