Weather in Okinawa on November 8th
☀️ Haisai! It’s CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 8th November 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it was a very warm and perfect day for travelling, seemingly unrelated to Typhoon Fung-wong No. 26. Although they say the typhoon’s path has turned towards Okinawa, it seems I’ll finally experience my first typhoon here. I thought I wouldn’t get to see a typhoon before leaving Okinawa, but here it comes. Of course… I can’t be sure what it will be like. The temperature was a maximum of 28°C and a minimum of 24°C today.
Okinawa Weather Video for 8th November 2025
Today’s Okinawa weather video has quite a few clips. The Okinawa Snap Schedule has been moved forward due to the typhoon, so I have a lot of filming scheduled for this weekend. As I’m spending a lot of time outside, naturally there are many video clips as well.
Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

This morning in Naha, Okinawa looks beautiful. I need to head north for a shoot, but before departing, I captured the Naha sky. The day started with incredibly good weather, and not a single drop of rain fell all day.

This is a photo taken at the Kyoda tollgate using the motorway. The sky here was completely clear without a single cloud. It was a bit warm, and I could see the temperature rising by one degree every hour on the car’s thermometer.

This is a scene from a café in Bisezaki in the morning. Even though the temperature has dropped slightly, it’s still summer.

This is the view of Bisezaki Beach. The place you can see in the distance is called Iejima.

As the afternoon progresses, the water level becomes shallower. I think it’s perfect for a refreshing snorkelling session. The water is also incredibly clear.

After finishing the morning shoot, we’re on our way to have lunch. This is a shop in Bisezak that rents out snorkelling gear, but they are gradually closing down. Once the customers are gone… the parking often becomes free.

These are the kittens that are in the same place every day. Seeing them daily, it seemed like they started recognising me too.

I sorted out lunch at Fukusuke’s Tamagoyaki. I personally think the Potama Onigiri is tastier. The flavours here are quite mild, so overall, the taste is rather plain. It’s a franchise in Okinawa, and if you’re visiting Bisezaki and looking for a simple meal, it’s worth a try. [Fukusuke’s Tamagoyaki]

This shop is home to two resident cats. They don’t mind being touched by people, so children love them. They’re always waiting for someone to give them something.

This is how it looked after the afternoon shoot following lunch. The water at Bisezaki is quite cool, but it’s not too cold to swim without a wetsuit. I know this well as I often wade in up to my knees for filming. I think the water temperature is just right for enjoying the summer.

Having finished all the filming at Bise Saki, we are now on our way to shoot at American Village. Perhaps because it’s Saturday, the Bise Fukugi path is still bustling with visitors. The parking lot is full, so people keep driving around in circles.

This is the scene of the American Village in the late afternoon. The sunlight here seems hotter than the sunlight in Bisezaki. It was a day in Okinawa that made me feel like a real summer after a long time.

This photo was taken after finishing all the shooting until sunset, just before heading home. People start gathering as there will be fireworks at 8 PM. We quickly make our exit before it becomes difficult to leave. If you want to get a feel for the atmosphere during the fireworks event, you can check out the Okinawa Weather Report for September 6th.
Okinawa Weather Forecast

This is the predicted path of Typhoon Fung-wong, number 26. Currently, it is expected to curve and possibly make landfall near Okinawa. As it is still east of the Philippines, the exact path is uncertain, but as time progresses, we will be able to confirm a more specific route. [Source: Japan Weather News]
It’s important to note that this is just a predicted path, and whether it will pass through Okinawa is still unknown. We will continue to keep you updated.

Here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa.
The rain expected on certain days is not due to a typhoon. It’s because rain clouds, unrelated to the typhoon, are heading directly towards Okinawa without any deviation. The concern is that this period is quite long. If a typhoon does indeed come to Okinawa, there will be even more rain. I really hope that doesn’t happen. My filming schedule is already changing, and I’m feeling tired.
That’s it for the Okinawa weather report on 8th November 2025. I’ll wrap up here and be back tomorrow with more Okinawa weather updates. Matayasai 👋
