Starting the Okinawa weather report for 18th October 2025.
Today in Okinawa, I didn’t go out much, so I’m not entirely sure. I only went out briefly for lunch and dinner, but it definitely feels like the heatwave has ended. That doesn’t mean it’s cool or that the heat has disappeared. Okinawa is still hot. As I always say, 32 degrees in August and September feels different from 32 degrees in October. The intense heat has somewhat subsided.
Today’s high was 32 degrees, and the low was 27 degrees.

This is the view of Naha at dawn today.
Since I stayed up all night editing photos, I was able to see the early morning scene of Okinawa for the first time in a while. The day begins in such a grand manner. The dawn air was quite refreshing.
This is what Miebashi Street looked like around noon. I was on my way to lunch, and the sky was so beautiful that I wondered if the forecast for rain starting tomorrow was correct. It was quite warm, of course.
Since I’ve been working on photo editing at home all the time, I haven’t gone out much… So, I stepped outside briefly during sunset to take one more quick photo of today’s weather. As I have a shooting schedule until the 20th, I really hope it doesn’t rain.
Okinawa Weather Forecast
Here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa.
There is news of rain starting from the afternoon of the 19th, but I have outdoor filming scheduled until the 20th, and my holiday is from the 21st to the 25th. So, I hope it doesn’t rain until the 20th. It seems like it won’t rain heavily, just a continuous drizzle. The actual expected rainfall is low, and when you look at the rain clouds approaching Okinawa on the radar, they are all small and barely visible. It’s hard to even find where this rain is coming from. It doesn’t seem like there will be a lot of rain. [Source: Japan Weather News]
