Weather in Okinawa on October 27th

Starting the Okinawa weather report for 27th October 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it was mostly cloudy throughout the day. It was cloudy from the morning shoot and continued to be so into the afternoon and evening. It felt cloudy at night too because the moon wasn’t visible. So, I think the night sky was cloudy as well. I spent the whole day wandering around American Village and Kokusai Street, and I didn’t witness any rain. However, a customer who went on a tour to the northern part of Okinawa mentioned that it rained there.
Originally, there was a forecast for rain today, but it seems it only rained in the north. The temperature was a maximum of 27 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees, and it feels like the time when you sweat just by walking around in the midday heat has passed.

This is the view of American Village this morning. It was around 10:40, and strangely, the shops opened early today. It was overcast from early morning until evening. I wore a short-sleeved shirt and shorts, and it was neither hot nor cold, just cool and comfortable. As it was quite windy, it was a good day for those who feel the cold to wear light but long clothing. In fact, I noticed many women wearing thin, long clothes, even if they weren’t thick.

Of course, you can dress in summer attire like this without any issues. There were so many Koreans who said it was cold even when it was 27 degrees Celsius this spring. So, I always find it hard to say definitively whether 25-28 degrees is cold or hot. I find it comfortable and nice, but you might feel differently. That’s why, until mid-October, I focused on landscape photos for the weather, but until next summer comes around, I’ll include photos showing how people are dressed.
It’s quite similar to Prague, isn’t it?

Here is today’s view of Sunset Beach. After finishing filming at the American Village, I capture a shot before moving on to the next shoot at Kokusai Street.
There are still people swimming in bikinis, but there are also those wearing long clothes, making it quite a mix.

This evening on Kokusai Street. The ladies in front are dressed in cool summer outfits, but the two men on the right are wearing long shirts and trousers. That’s why I can’t give a definite answer about the weather.

This is a shot of Kokusai Street taken before heading home.
While filming, I found it quite pleasant as I wasn’t sweating much anymore. Of course… I don’t find Okinawa’s 34-degree heat particularly tough. It’s you who might find it challenging.

This is a restaurant in Okinawa that I really want to introduce to you… However, due to internal circumstances, it is currently under construction and not open for business. I’ll introduce it again once it reopens. The ramen here is truly delicious.

Here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa.
It seems there’s rain expected tomorrow. I’ll be at American Village all day for filming, so if it rains, it could be quite inconvenient. With an 80% chance of rain in the forecast, it’s almost certain, but I really hope it turns out to be a dry day. [Source: Japan Weather News]
