Weather in Okinawa on October 8th

🌥️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 8th October 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it was generally a cloudy day. There was a brief shower around noon for about 10 minutes, but it wasn’t significant. After that, it remained quite cloudy with strong winds, making it a cooler day compared to yesterday. It was slightly cooler, but still warm with a high of 31°C and a low of 28°C.

Okinawa Weather Video for 8th October 2025

Today’s video consists solely of clips from the northern part of Okinawa. It seems there’s nothing filmed except the sea.

Photos of Today’s Okinawa Weather

This morning's view of the sky in Naha

This is a view of Miebashi and Tomari Port taken from home on my way to work. The sunlight was really strong at this time, although it gradually became cloudier.

The appearance of the noon sky in Nago City

This was filmed at the Kyoda Rest Area in the northern Nago region. There’s a light drizzle and a breeze, making it feel a bit refreshing.

Cloudy Iejima

We’ve arrived at Bise Saki. Perhaps because it’s the time when the tide comes in, the water is a bit chilly today. It was refreshing and perfect for dipping our feet in.

The Coral Reefs of Bisezak

Visezaki is famous as a snorkelling spot where children can also enjoy, thanks to its abundance of coral reefs and fish.

People snorkelling at Bise Point

Although there are rough waves, the natural structures around Bisezaki help to block them, neutralising waves of a certain height.

Bisezakihama Beach

The tide is coming in, but it’s still low tide, so the sandy beach is widely spread out. It’s lovely to take photos while walking along that path.

Okinawa Weather on 8th October 2025 at Sunset Bisezaki

Today, I spent the entire day in northern Bisezaki. After finishing all the filming, this was the last photo I took. I was so tired that instead of taking more weather photos, I just took the highway straight back home to Naha. As soon as I got back, I had a cup of barley tea, organised the photos, and now I’m writing this weather report. There’s a mountain of things to do, but I’m absolutely exhausted. The silver lining is that today was windy and the clouds shielded the sun, so the weather didn’t add to the fatigue of filming. It’s just that working non-stop for nearly a month has left me a bit weary.

Fukusuke Tamagoyaki

This evening’s dinner is Fukusuke’s Tamagoyaki. Personally, I prefer the Potama Onigiri.
Anyway, the temperature feels the same as in September, but at night, it definitely feels different. September was hot, but even with the same temperature in October, it somehow feels a bit cooler.

Okinawa Weather Forecast

Expected Path of Typhoon No. 23

The 23rd typhoon has developed near the Mariana Trench. It’s the rain cloud I mentioned yesterday, and it’s heading towards Okinawa, but… it seems this typhoon might not have much impact on Okinawa either. Like the 22nd typhoon, it might suddenly change course. Currently, the 22nd typhoon was expected to come directly to Okinawa, but it turned almost 180 degrees and went the other way, didn’t it? For now, we will keep a close watch on this typhoon as well. [Source: Japan Weather News]

10-day Okinawa weather forecast

Here is the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa. There is a slight chance of showers every day, but notably, there is rain expected on the afternoon of the 10th… We’ll have to see. Japan Weather News tends to be quite conservative with their forecasts, so they don’t even indicate very light showers like squalls. If they do mention rain, it’s quite likely to happen.
I’ll be filming outdoors all day on the 10th, so I really hope it doesn’t rain.

That’s it for the Okinawa weather report for 8th October 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and be back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
