Weather in Okinawa on September 10th

Starting the Okinawa weather report for 10th September 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it was an ordinarily hot day as usual. There were a few showers, but it was just the same pattern repeating every day. Recently, many people have been asking about the weather unnecessarily, but there’s only a forecast for a brief heavy shower on Thursday afternoon, and no significant rain is expected in Okinawa for the next 10 days. Also, it won’t be affected by any typhoons, so it looks like today’s weather will continue. Today’s temperature was a high of 32°C and a low of 28°C, but it was a windy day, so it felt cooler than yesterday despite the same temperature.

Today’s Okinawa weather video was filmed in Naha and the southern region, offering a variety of impressions. The cloudy weather continued from the afternoon, but the clouds were thin enough to allow the sunset to be observed through them.
Today, I’m on my way to help with the car rental business. I’m not doing anything major, just lending a hand here and there. It’s not a regular job, just temporary. The new cars coming in these days have such great performance, I can feel the advancements in vehicles every day. By the way, it was around 1 PM at this time, and it was quite hot.
This is Tomari Port. Perhaps because I left the car seats exposed to the sun… when I returned from work and sat down, they were incredibly hot. Still, it is summer after all. However… the weather is a bit monotonous, repeating the same kind of day as today, which can be a little dull. Interestingly, since I’ve been living in Okinawa, not a single typhoon has hit here. I keep expecting a typhoon to come… but it doesn’t. Even if it does, it either suddenly turns away, disappears and then reappears after passing Okinawa.
The cruise that departed from Yokohama has arrived. It’s a 19-night, 20-day cruise that travels to places like Yokohama, Okinawa, and Taiwan. Having that much free time is truly enviable. If I took 19 days off, it would probably cause quite a stir. Anyway… the spot where I’m taking photos is the pier, and it’s incredibly hot.
This is Umikaji Terrace around 4 PM. It looked like it was going to pour, but only a few drops of drizzle fell and then it stopped.
I’ve come to the supermarket to do some shopping. It’s a place called A-COOP, and it reminds me of when I used to live in Prague and often went hiking in Switzerland. The cost of living in Switzerland was so high that whenever I ran out of groceries, I would drive over to Germany and shop at a supermarket called COOP. The name brings back old memories.
The last photo of today’s Okinawa weather is of the ferry terminal near the airport pier. It’s still a bit warm at dusk. After carrying some luggage around, I’m drenched in sweat. Nevertheless, it’s the perfect weather for enjoying a swim or snorkelling. [Google Map]
