Weather in Okinawa on September 11th

⛅️ Haisai! This is CULT.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 11th September 2025.
Today and tomorrow, I don’t have any filming schedules, so the content might be a bit light. The filming schedule has been so hectic that I took it easy and filmed just a little. Anyway, the weather in Okinawa was hot in the morning, and quite cloudy after 3 PM. It rained briefly at dawn, and there were showers for about 10 minutes each day, but when I was out all day, it didn’t rain at all. But I’m sure it rained somewhere. It was quite humid today. The temperature was consistently the same, with a high of 32°C and a low of 28°C, as if copying and pasting the daily temperature.

Today’s weather clip is also short. All I did today was office work and photo editing, and then I went to a delicious ramen shop for lunch. Since the plugin hasn’t been created yet, I can’t upload the restaurant information to Cultravel, so I’m organising it on Naver Blog. It’s a really nice place, so do visit it sometime. The appearance of the road under the hot southern sun

After enjoying a delicious bowl of ramen, I took a photo to document the weather. I was chatting with a local Okinawan friend about the weather, and it seems that while Okinawa is fine, Tokyo is experiencing heavy rain. My friend showed me their friends’ Instagram accounts, and it was pouring down there. I’ve never seen it rain that much in Okinawa.
So I mentioned that I’ve never witnessed such heavy rain while living in Okinawa. They said I might experience it soon. I’m looking forward to it.

The appearance of the monorail on a cloudy afternoon

After returning the rental car, I head to Akamine for the drop-off. Usually, travellers go directly to the airport, right? Hmm… Is it just Koreans who typically do this? Since I live in Miebashi, I go to Akamine. It was clear just until we had our meal earlier, but it has become very cloudy in just about 30 minutes.

The view of Miebashi Station and the released river

Travellers often worry about whether getting from the airport to the city centre might be inconvenient, but the monorail is extremely well set up. You can reach the very heart of Okinawa, Miebashi, in just 17 minutes.
By the way, a lot of water has been released at Miebashi Station. Apart from today, there have been heavy showers for about 10 minutes each day over the past few days, so the hills and soil have absorbed a lot of water. It seems like it should be fine to release water now.

Looking at the 10-day weather forecast for Okinawa, significant rain is expected on September 20th and 21st. However, the reliability is low, so we need to keep an eye on it. There’s a large tropical depression near the Mariana Trench, but it’s uncertain if it will head towards Okinawa. For the next week, the chances of heavy rain in Okinawa are low. Of course, there will be brief showers lasting about 10 minutes each day.

Okinawa Weather on 11th September 2025: The View of Tomari at Sunset

This is the view at sunset today. From Saturday until my business trip to Miyakojima on 24th September, I have no days off, so I’m taking it easy, snapping a few weather photos here and there. By the way, I haven’t seen it rain all day with my own eyes, but it’s humid even in the evening. For now, it seems there’s a low chance of heavy rain for the next week, so I don’t think we need to worry about rain.

This concludes the Okinawa weather report for 11th September 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and will be back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
