Weather in Okinawa on September 3rd
👋 Haisai! It’s CULT here.
Starting the Okinawa weather report for 3rd September 2025.
Today, Okinawa was truly hot. I doubt anyone met the Okinawa sun more than I did today! I was outdoors from the first shoot in the morning until the sunset, and although I planned to take a break for about an hour after the shoot, continuous delays meant I was under the sun almost without a break. By the time I got home, my neck looked like a red sausage. The temperature reached a high of 32°C and a low of 27°C, and with the light breeze, it felt even hotter.
Okinawa Weather Video for 3rd September 2025
Today’s Okinawa weather video covers a variety of locations, from Miyagi Beach to American Village and Umikaji Terrace. It was a very busy day, and once again, I had a truly fulfilling day.

This morning’s view of Miebashi. The sun is no joke from the morning. These days, I almost commute to the American Village every day. With the morning sun like this… I’m already worried about how hot it will be in the afternoon.
Miyagi Beach and American Village

This is Miyagi Beach. But… there’s no swimming or anything like that. It’s just a nice place for a walk or a run. You can jog along the coastal path. In fact, you can see people who look like US military personnel running there every day.

I’ve arrived at American Village. I had some business at Zhivago Coffee, so I popped in briefly… and then came to park at the Aeon Mall parking lot. Today, there are a total of three [Okinawa Snap Shoots] at American Village. Since the meeting place is Starbucks, I have to keep coming back here after each shoot. It’s already… hot.
By the way, if you come to American Village, make sure to try [Zhivago Coffee]. The coffee is delicious.

After the first shoot, it’s time for the second one. Since the bride is in a fully set wedding dress, the shoot takes quite a while. Certainly, when walking down the street in Japan, many people offer their congratulations upon seeing the dress, but it’s much more pronounced in Europe. Japanese people tend to offer their congratulations quietly from the side, whereas Europeans come right up to you and congratulate you openly.

After the second shoot, it’s Sunset Beach. The weather is definitely hot, so it does make you a bit tired. However, the Okinawa heat isn’t too intense by my standards. What concerns me more is whether the babies and elderly people involved in the shoot might be struggling. That’s my bigger worry.

The third shoot has wrapped up at the American Village. I’m feeling a bit tired now. I was planning to grab a drink from the Lawson convenience store, but I was too exhausted and headed straight to the car park. Even though I’m quite tired, it’s not as bad compared to what we did in Prague.
There, we started the first shoot at 4 AM and finished at midnight, you know…

Feeling quite exhausted… I ended up buying an ice cup for 108 yen, something I would never usually pay for. It was refreshing and nice to drink with a Monster. While sipping my drink at the food court in Aeon Mall, I let out a big sigh, and a child at the next table said I looked like I was drinking alcohol. Then the child’s mother glanced at my energy drink and apologised.

After finishing all the filming at American Village, we’re on our way to the final shoot at [Umikaji Terrace]. Unfortunately, it was rush hour, so the traffic was terrible… We just took the highway instead. When you’re travelling around Okinawa by rental car, try to avoid moving around after 5 PM if possible. It’s tiring.

We successfully finished shooting at Umikaji Terrace with the sunset. Although it wasn’t an incredibly stunning sunset, we were still able to wrap up with a nice atmosphere. It definitely felt cooler as the sun disappeared beyond the horizon.

This is a view of the second floor of Umikaji Terrace, showing how people were dressed. I realised there weren’t many photos showing people’s outfits, so I quickly snapped this one at the end. It was simply a hot day, so wearing cool clothing was only natural.

Anyway, after finishing all the filming, I returned home. Now, I’m writing the Okinawa weather report for 3rd September 2025. I’m also checking the typhoon and weather forecasts. You see, I have a holiday from next Monday to Thursday, but the filming schedule is incredibly tight until then. So, let’s take a look at the forecast now.
Okinawa Weather Forecast

First of all… Typhoon No. 15 has not yet developed into a typhoon. It might develop by early tomorrow morning. However, it has no connection with Okinawa. At that distance, it will just provide a bit of cooler breeze to Okinawa. There’s no need to worry. [Source: Japan Weather News]

So, there’s really nothing you need to worry about. In Okinawa, from September 3rd to 13th, there’s no news of rain for 10 days. If it does rain, it will likely be a brief tropical shower. Unless a tropical depression suddenly forms somewhere, the forecast will remain unchanged. Someone falsely claimed in an open chat that a typhoon was heading to Okinawa, causing some confusion, but I don’t have time to deal with that. I’m busy filming. If there are any unusual weather changes or issues, I’ll keep you updated with reports.
This concludes the Okinawa weather report for September 3rd, 2025. I’ll wrap it up here and will be back with more Okinawa weather news tomorrow. Matayasai 👋
