Hi, I’m author S.
Here’s another couples’ photo shoot from Prague. Bookings for my Prague shoots were starting to pick up.. and just thinking about how busy I’d be there had already got me exercising to build up my stamina. But the pandemic had left me.. with a confirmed case of weight gain.. so getting back in shape was one more thing on my to-do list.

As I mentioned recently.. when I was doing photo shoots in Prague.. I never looked at other photographers’ work. Even if I did see it, I’d act as though I hadn’t and wouldn’t try to bring it to mind. Once I let go of that stubbornness, I started learning so much from looking at photos from Jeju, Japan and plenty of other places. It made me realize I’d been too set in my ways about the shots I wanted, and that I’d let myself get too comfortable. I had a lot to reflect on.

Still, plenty of people were asking for the kinds of Prague photos I’d been posting recently. At least.. unless the weather was absolutely terrible, I could reliably deliver the same quality as the photos on my blog. I think I’d become too comfortable with that. Of course, if that was the style someone wanted, I could photograph them that way. But unless they had a particular request.. I planned to keep evolving my photography style.

I didn’t know what the photos would look like from then on.. but I thought they’d definitely be much more varied. Even when photographers said they didn’t have much experience.. if I liked their photos, I’d look closely, study them and learn. I felt I was moving away from staging shots.. toward prompting everyday actions and catching the natural moments that followed. I was really looking forward to seeing where my photography would go.

These were my thoughts on a day near the end of May 2022, fired up to take better photos.

Booking Information

If I resume photo shoots in Prague, I’ll make a separate announcement.

I’m not currently doing photo shoots in Prague or taking bookings for them. If I resume, I’ll make a separate announcement. If I do offer shoots in Prague again, you can expect to pay about 250,000 KRW for 1 hour in the daytime, or around 400,000 KRW for 3 hours covering 2 hours in the daytime and 1 hour at night. A 3-hour shoot would include 30 edited photos and 450 original photos.
