Okinawa Weather on 29th June

Let’s start today’s Okinawa weather report.
I went out for a snap shoot in Okinawa today… I think today might be the sweatiest day of 2025 for me. Sunscreen was smeared on my face, and sweat was dripping onto the camera screen… The sweat was grey. It might be fine if you move around gently, but since I’m constantly on the move, it was indeed a very sweaty day.
The Route from Miebashi to American Village
This is the view of Tomari from Miebashi before heading out for a shoot this morning. The clouds are truly… a work of art. In Japan, the clouds are as delightful as a tall swirl of soft ice cream. They have a different charm compared to the clouds scattered across the European sky.
It looks like students… They’re performing tricks on bicycles. I used to do that when I was young too 🤗
This is the way to the American Village. I captured the sight of someone with an umbrella as it rained briefly. It rained for a total of about 10 minutes in the morning and afternoon. There was definitely rain in the forecast today, and it turned out to be accurate.
Somewhere in Urasoe City. I took a photo while waiting at the traffic light because the sky was beautiful.
I’ve arrived at American Village. These cumulonimbus-like clouds… they bring rain. If you look at the left side of the horizon in the photo, you’ll notice a greyish tint… that’s probably rain. In Okinawa, sporadic squalls like that occur, so it rains even under a blue sky ☔️
Before starting the shoot, I cool down with a refreshing glass of water. The Evian pouch giveaway event is still ongoing. People don’t seem too interested… but I’m happily collecting the pouches. At home, I’m using these pouches to organise my vast collection of cables.
It looks cloudy here because there are many clouds, but it’s not cloudy at all.
I came to the eastern coast of Okinawa because I needed information on good eateries in the area. I heard there’s a statue on the water nearby, but I couldn’t see it. To cover all travel information about Okinawa, one really needs to be quite diligent in exploring. By the way, there were quite a few people enjoying jet skiing.
I’m on my way home after finishing all my plans. The sky was so beautiful that I just had to capture it.
After parking, I returned the vehicle. I can rent cars at a very affordable price, which allows me to frequently review rental cars.
This is Okinawa Zenzai. It’s a product similar to shaved ice with red beans. After having one, taking a shower, and napping, I woke up to find it’s already eleven at night. It was certainly a hot day. I think it’s quite a nice day if you just relax and enjoy quietly without running around in the sun like me.
