Weather in Okinawa on October 28th

Starting the Okinawa weather report for 28th October 2025.
If I were to describe today’s Okinawa weather in one sentence, it was quite unpleasant. It wasn’t raining heavily, but the clouds were so thick that you couldn’t see where the sun was, and they were dark clouds, which didn’t help the mood. Additionally, the wind was strong all day, turning everyone’s hairstyle into Dragon Ball’s Vegeta style, making it a very unsuitable day for photography. As a result, all my Okinawa snap schedules were cancelled today, which is why I’m not in a great mood.
Anyway, the temperature was a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius… For the first time since this summer, I heard a customer say it was cold.

This morning, I’m on my way to the car park to pick up the car. Although there’s a 90% chance of rain… I still need to head to the American Village, so off I go. The wind is so refreshing that it’s even forcing my fringe upwards.
The area between Naha and American Village is called Urasoe. As I was passing through there… a light drizzle started to fall. The sky is very, extremely overcast. It’s filled with dark clouds.
In the end, the first shoot of the morning… was cancelled because they said they had to leave this afternoon. So, I came to Zibago Coffee to do some work. I said I would try everything, but I really don’t feel like eating anything sweet. Anyway, since Zibago Coffee is delicious, if you come to American Village, make sure to visit. [Best Coffee Zibago]
I took out my smartphone to calculate… Hmm… I found a gas bill. It’s for the usage from September 15th to October 15th… The bill came to 935 yen… Minus the basic charge… Yes, I take cold showers. So, I have no need to use gas at all.
In the end, the morning and afternoon shoots were cancelled, so I’m diligently working on editing the Okinawa snap photos.
Outside, the wind is blowing strongly, and although it hasn’t rained much, the rain is coming down sideways… That’s why the Zivago Coffee Café is very busy with customers. You can also frequently spot people wearing long clothes.
The sunset shoot ended up being cancelled… so I couldn’t do any filming at the American Village today. So, I’m just… heading back. This photo seems to represent today’s weather perfectly. Dark clouds have covered Okinawa.
If it’s going to be like this, it might as well rain heavily… It’s been drizzling all day long… I’m heading to Itoman to return the rental car, but the traffic is terrible because it’s rush hour…
I think this might have been the moment when it rained the most today. A slightly heavy drizzle? It’s raining, but… do I really need to use an umbrella? It was that kind of rain.
Just a side note… At the Okinawa Lawson convenience store right now… if you buy barley tea, you get a Kuromi keyring. I don’t have time to make a separate post about this… so if you’re interested in Kuromi, head over to a Lawson convenience store.
