Weather in Okinawa on 18th November

Starting the Okinawa weather report for 18th November 2025.
Today in Okinawa, it was an endlessly cloudy day. In the early morning, there was a fairly heavy rain, followed by intermittent drizzle throughout the morning, and it remained cloudy all day. It was a day where even shadows were faint and it was hard to find any trace of the sun. It was so cloudy that not even a small piece of blue sky could be seen, reminiscent of a European winter sky. With strong winds blowing, it felt like a day for wearing long clothes. The highest temperature was 23°C, and the lowest was 21°C, making it the coolest day since the summer began.

Today, all my schedules were cancelled, so I just worked on editing at home. Therefore, I only have footage shot around my neighbourhood.

This is the morning view of Miebashi, Okinawa. It’s raining, so the shoot has been cancelled.

I’m on my way home with a packed lunch, and it’s not raining. However, the wind is blowing strongly.

As my life in Japan will completely end next February, it’s time to start sending my belongings back to Korea, so I’m on my way to the post office to buy some boxes. It seems they’ve stored a lot of water in the Miebashi River. There’s no forecast for heavy rain for the time being.

The post office staff working indoors were all wearing long blouses. It seems that summer has indeed come to an end. Of course, the temperature will rise again when the sun comes out next week.

당분간 큰 비가 올 것 같지는 않고, 금요일까지는 꽤 흐릴 예정이군요. 제게는 금요일이 조금 중요한 날이긴 한데, 그때 날이 맑았으면 좋겠습니다. 여튼 이제 오키나와는 기온이 높아 봤자 26도입니다. 살짝 덥기는 하겠지만, 날씨 특성상 11월이면 점점 바람이 많이 불기 때문에 추위를 잘타시는 분들은 긴옷을 챙겨야할 시기에요.
