Starting the Okinawa weather report for 23rd November 2025.
Today in Okinawa, the weather was absolutely splendid. Yesterday was also nice, but it got quite cloudy and a bit gloomy in the late afternoon, which was a slight downside. However, today the weather was great all day long. In the morning, the sky was clear and bright without a single cloud, and in the afternoon, there were pretty cotton candy clouds floating around with a pleasant temperature that wasn’t too hot. To sum it up in one sentence, it was the perfect climate for travelling.

This is the view of the Tomari area in Naha, Okinawa, in the morning. The sky was perfectly clear without a single cloud, and the day began with very pleasant and cool weather, neither cold nor hot.
This is the scene on Kokusai Street, and people’s outfits are quite varied. Some are wearing dresses or sleeveless tops, while others are seen in hoodies, cardigans, or windbreakers. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what kind of clothing to prepare. I can’t know how sensitive you are to cold or heat.
As for me, since I always have to run around with a camera, I was comfortable in a T-shirt and shorts. I didn’t sweat much and could shoot comfortably.
This is the view of Miebashi Street. The afternoon clouds were incredibly beautiful. This street gets a bit busier at night.
Every Sunday from noon to 6 PM, traffic is restricted on Kokusai Street. They hold a car-free day event. Now that the weather has cooled down, you can easily spot people busking or performing. In the summer, it’s too hot to hold such events. Well… for me, even the hottest season in Okinawa doesn’t feel particularly hot.
This is the view of the Miebashi River in the late afternoon. Since there hasn’t been any heavy rain recently, a lot of water is stored in the river. As there is no heavy rain expected for a while, it’s a time to manage the water well. The humidity isn’t very high, so it’s quite pleasant. We always have the air conditioner and dehumidifier running at home, but now when I wake up in the morning, it’s so dry that my throat hurts. So, I’m turning off the air conditioner and dehumidifier now.

For now, the weather is expected to remain good. There is some rain forecast for Thursday and Friday, but it won’t be heavy, so there’s no need to worry too much. It seems that November in Okinawa will end as a peaceful and pleasant time for travel.
