Photos of a couple walking through Prague on Christmas Eve

Hi, I’m author S.
I had quite a few photo shoots in Prague last week.. so I took a week off from posting photos on the blog.. and here they are this week. Today’s photos are from Christmas Eve 2022. At the time, quite a few people wanted a relaxed shoot without being directed, just letting things unfold.. so that’s how I photographed this couple.

The couple sit side by side on a railing with the cathedral at Prague Castle (Pražský hrad) in view.

Things to NoteI'm not currently doing photo shoots or taking bookings in Prague. If I do shoots there again, I'll announce it separately.

It was Christmas Eve.. and we went to Our Lady of Exile late in the afternoon. Wow.. I wasn’t expecting.. quite so many people. Luckily, there was nobody in the way just when we were shooting, so I managed to get these lovely photos.

The couple embrace at a viewpoint overlooking Prague and its castle.
The couple stand with Prague Castle (Pražský hrad) behind them at sunset.
The couple kiss on steps in a narrow alley covered in graffiti.

Couples from different countries: stealing kisses at every opportunity, no prompting needed.

The couple walk hand in hand along a street with a café sign.
The couple stand in front of a patterned wall.

It was so crowded.. but just as we arrived, the crowds parted like the Red Sea.. so I get these lovely shots in front of Schwarzenberg Palace (Schwarzenberský palác) too.

The couple stand holding hands on a street lined with cars.

As they walk, one, two, three.. turn around!

The couple walk down an alley with a parking sign.

I also photograph them walking way over in the distance.

The couple walk together along a stone-paved street with a church in view.

I can’t leave out St. Nicholas Church (kostel svatého Mikuláše)..

The couple stand by the river with Charles Bridge (Karlův most) and a bridge tower in view.

Cihelná is always beautiful.

Since they’re in Prague.. I take a shot with that unmistakable Prague feel. I.. don’t ask them to do anything elaborate. All you have to do here.. is walk a little more slowly than the tourists passing by.

If you ask me to set up particular shots, of course I can do that too. But if you want photos that are just about the two of you, like these, that’s absolutely possible as well. Feel free to give it a try!

Wishing you all happiness!
Thank you xD
