Prague Moody Photos: A New Era of Selling a Vibe
Prague photos full of laughter and conversation, right through to sunset
Hi, I’m author S.
Today I’ll show you some Prague photos that are a little different from my usual work. Sarangbi Snap originally gave landmarks more space in the frame than people, making it clear that the photos were taken in Prague. But these days, people care more about themselves than emphasizing Prague, so I’ve been working on a new style to suit that.

The colors already look different, right?
My usual style is to make the natural colors look as beautiful as possible, but this look is in fashion, so that’s how I’m editing these photos.
You could actually do this on Instagram or other photo apps, but you’re all busy.

Prague Moody Photo Shoot Summary
Even with people larger in the frame, I couldn’t let go of perfectly aligned horizontal and vertical lines.
Details
The idea is to focus on them laughing, chatting and having fun rather than on arranging landmarks in the frame. I guide them so they can do this.

It looks spontaneous.. but it’s all directed 😀

There’s nothing difficult, so all you need to do is come feeling well.

Don’t worry about getting those photos of you cracking up.
I never once tell you to smile, but I can always make you laugh.

To good health! Na zdraví!

That Instagram look.. even when I try to make the photos look a little amateurish.. my need to get the horizontal and vertical lines perfectly aligned is almost pathological.. Anyway, I’ve made these my own. I can’t let that go either.. because quite a few people book me simply because my photos look so clean.

Well,, all of this is directed too.

A photo I’d have deleted straight away if I were sticking to Sarangbi’s original style.

A nice, relaxed walk 😀

I can get shots like this without much difficulty too.
I hadn’t originally planned to take a tram on the way down. Because.. well.. I’d been thinking, no decent sunset today..? Then it suddenly looked like a beautiful sunset was on its way, so we hurried onto a tram to get there.

I take some fun photos too.

Like the stars of a movie 😀
It’s the filter that gives these photos this look. Before applying it, I edited Sarangbi’s original colors to be really crisp and look clean even when you revisit the photos in about 20 years. I do shoot to suit trends like this, but I still keep versions that serve my original purpose: photos that will look good years from now.

I take a few photos on Charles Bridge (Karlův most) too.
Would you believe all of this was shot in just over two hours? I’m quite a fast photographer 😀

This is pretty close to Sarangbi’s original style.
But.. if the photos focus on the people, wouldn’t it be a little awkward if, about 10 years later, even someone who’s been to Prague asks where this was..

This is a landscape photo 😀

Shh!
I think what I actually said was something like, let’s try a nose-to-nose shot, but don’t actually touch or you’ll smudge your makeup. But they did touch :'(

That day.. there’d been a traffic accident here, so the road was closed to vehicles and police were going back and forth.. Tourists thought it was closed to everyone, so nobody came in. Well.. I really lucked out. Getting sunset photos on Mánes Bridge (Mánesův most) with no one around, I think I was pretty lucky.
Actually, there were people.. I edited them out..

If you’re not laughing, I’ll make you laugh 😀

A silhouette photo. The blacks in the original are beautifully clean and silky, but this is how it looks with a filter.

Lately, I’ve been taking this shot at almost every session.

Kisses in black and white

And for looking back in about 20 years, a color photo with a big smile ^___^

A tram happened to pass, so I added a shot with some motion blur.

I’ll wrap up with a photo inspired by the ending of the film The Beauty Inside.
The shoot was great fun, and they responded so well that it was easy to work with them. The weather was only a B, which was a little disappointing, but it wasn’t too difficult to handle in editing.
Wishing you health and happiness always!
Anyway, thanks for reading to the end!
Booking Information
If I offer shoots in Prague again, I’ll announce it separately.
I’m not currently taking bookings for photo shoots in Prague. If I offer them again, I’ll announce it separately. If I do, a 1-hour daytime shoot would be around 250,000 KRW, and a 3-hour day-and-night shoot, with 2 hours by day and 1 hour at night, would be around 400,000 KRW. The 3-hour shoot would include 30 edited photos and 450 original photos.
- These photos were taken in just over two hours. I'm quite a fast photographer.
- For this shoot, I kept versions in Sarangbi's original colors as well as the filtered photos. My original aim is to leave you with photos that will still look good years from now.
- The road was closed to vehicles because of a traffic accident that day, but tourists thought it was closed to everyone and stayed away. There were still some people, though, so I edited them out of the photos.
- I hadn't originally planned to take a tram on the way down. It suddenly looked like a beautiful sunset was on its way, so we hurried onto a tram to get there.
- The weather was only a B, which was a little disappointing. Still, it wasn't too difficult to handle in editing.
