Today in Okinawa, the weather was quite hot. It wasn’t so much the temperature as the high humidity that made it feel warm. Overall, it was cloudy and not particularly sunny, but when the sun did shine, it felt even hotter. The highest temperature was 32°C, and the lowest was 28°C, making it a rather hot summer’s day.
Today’s weather in Okinawa was quite extreme. In the morning, the Onna Village area experienced a torrential downpour for about 10 minutes, with very intense rain. In the afternoon, in Motobu, there was heavy rain for about 5 minutes, making it difficult to see ahead. Apart from that, it was generally a clear and hot day.
When you visit Bise Fukugi, you’ll find more cafes and snack shops than restaurants. Today, I visited a shop called Beniimoya, which sells Okinawa’s speciality, purple sweet potato tarts.

It was an afternoon where just walking made you sweat a little. The temperature reached a high of 32°C and a low of 27°C, with a light drizzle starting in the evening.

The temperature was similar, but the amount of sunshine was much better than yesterday, and the brief rain in the early morning contributed to the rise in humidity. In the evening, it cooled down, but it was still a night where you would sweat if you moved around busily.
