Prague Family Photos in Hanbok: A Sky That Suits Hanbok
Family photos with a child in hanbok under the Prague sky
Hi, I’m author S.
Today I’m sharing family photos from Prague.
This was a 2-hour daytime shoot.

Family Photo Shoot in Hanbok in Prague: Summary
A daytime family shoot with everyone from the grandmother to the child in hanbok.
Details
We start at Our Lady of Exile.
I edited out all the messy chains behind them 😀
I make the photos look as clean as possible.

I take separate portraits of the grandmother too.

Since they’re in Prague, I make the photos feel as unmistakably Prague as possible.

The walking against the sky shot,

I encourage the child to move. My photography style is gradually heading in this direction. This is what makes photographing kids fun.

A fa-a-ancy travel portrait 😀

I keep things relaxed, take the photos quickly and move on.

This is the kid-friendly version of my shot at Schwarzenberg Palace (Schwarzenberský palác). With just adults, I include more of the surroundings for a grander feel.

Family photos with big smiles—easy for me 😀

Doing that move I taught them earlier again 😀
So adorable.

Now they’re doing it without any prompting

Just a candid shot

I demonstrate these movements for them as we go. They only look natural for about the first 3 seconds, so I work quickly.

A candid shot from a distance
Ultra-wide-angle or long telephoto lenses really are good for photographing kids.

A classic Prague photo I take quite often 😀

I cupped my face in my hands and winked, and the child copied me so well 😀
I tilted my head too, but I guess they missed that,,

Everyone has a family photo like this, right?

We finish with a photo that leaves no doubt they’ve been to Prague.
I had a lovely time with you the previous summer, and I wish you lasting health and happiness. Thank you 😀
Booking Information
If I do photo shoots in Prague again, I’ll announce it separately.
I’m currently not doing photo shoots or accepting bookings in Prague. If I do shoots there again, I’ll announce it separately. If I resume shoots in Prague, a 1-hour daytime session would cost around 250,000 KRW. A 3-hour daytime and night session, with 2 hours by day and 1 hour at night, would cost around 400,000 KRW. A 3-hour shoot would include 30 edited photos and 450 originals.
- It was a 2-hour daytime shoot. These photos show 3 generations of the family: the grandmother, the parents and the child in hanbok.
- I took the photos in this post in a way that suited the child. With just adults, I include more of the surroundings for a grander feel.
- They only look natural for about the first 3 seconds, so I work quickly. I showed the child how to cup their face in their hands and wink, and they copied me well.
- Ultra-wide-angle or long telephoto lenses are good for photographing kids. This post also includes photos of the child taken from a distance.
- I started at Our Lady of Exile, then took photos in the lanes and the square in front of St. Vitus Cathedral (Katedrála sv. Víta). I also photographed the family in a garden and at a viewpoint overlooking Charles Bridge (Karlův most).
