PriceThree hot dogs, cheese fries and drinks: 758 CZK, 800 CZK including the tip (June 2024 prices)
ProsOf the three hot dogs, the chili cheese was my favorite, and the place had a bit of an American feel. In June 2024, the two of us had hot dogs, cheese fries and drinks, felt a little more than full, and paid 758 CZK, or 800 CZK including the tip.
ConsYou need a reservation at mealtimes, so if you're walking in, choose an off-peak time.

First off.. this place is really popular. You’ll need a reservation at mealtimes, so if you’re walking in, an off-peak time is best.

The menu board lists sliders and fries.

The interior has a bit of an American feel. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but America is the one place I haven’t been, so take that with a pinch of salt 🙂

The menu board lists hot dog options and prices.

The hot dogs are.. pretty cheap compared with those in the Prague 1 district. Prague 1 is just ridiculously expensive..
I ordered a classic hot dog, a chili cheese hot dog, a Coney Island dog and cheese fries.

Yellow mustard and red ketchup sit on the table.

The thing is.. plenty of places in Europe charge for ketchup. It’s included here. You need it for the classic dog, after all.

A note says the table is reserved for 7:30.

We arrived at around 6 p.m., and this table was reserved from 7:30 p.m., so we had to leave by then.
Well.. two guys can polish off three hot dogs in five minutes.

An orange drink and a cola sit on the table.

All four dishes we ordered are here.
It looks like quite a spread in this photo.

This is the chili cheese hot dog. It’s just good.
The toppings inside are hotter than you might expect, so I’d recommend taking your time.

The fries are topped with cheese.

These are the cheese fries. Seriously, you can’t go wrong with fries. A must-order

A fork holds cheese fries.

Looking at this again makes me want some more.

This is the classic dog. Just add the ketchup and mustard provided on the side. The bun is good quality, and the whole thing is nice and simple.

This one is good too. The chili cheese hot dog is my favorite.

The receipt shows 758 CZK plus a 42 CZK tip, for a total of 800 CZK.

The bill came to 758 CZK, and I asked them to make it 800 CZK including the tip. The two of us were a little more than full.

I’d highly recommend this place if you’re staying in Prague for a week or longer, or spending a month living here.

Prague’s official tourism website lists the opening hours as daily 11:30–22:00, and I found no news of a closure (checked November 2, 2026). The restaurant’s website is mrhotdog.cz. The prices in this post are from my June 2024 visit. I haven’t confirmed current prices, so please check before you go.

Have a great trip to Prague 😀
